Hi. Just installed Doom 64 EX and got it running on Windows 10. However when I start a game and try to move the mouse left or right it moves a little but immediately springs back to the middle, making it unplayable with the mouse.

I've spent a lot of time looking this up but it doesn't look like anyone else has had this issue so i thought I would ask it on here.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

I installed this today and I'm having the exact same issue with mouse look.
It works fine with an Xbox 360 controller.
The issue is similar to when trying to use mouse look in emulators like Dolphin. The camera centers whenever the mouse stops moving because it thinks the mouse is an analog stick.

I am getting this on my Win10 work computer, but not my Win7 home computer. I will start digging...

Tried running it in compatibility mode for windows 7 and 8 but didn't make any difference.

The mouse issue isn't present for me in the Nightly Build available here:http://pub.dotfloat.com/doom64ex/nightly/l...m64ex-win32.zip

This release is quite different and should be unzipped to a new directory. Copy the rom over and run 'doom64ex.exe -wadgen [rom]'

The last time I used this build it crashed with custom maps, but otherwise seemed fine.

This port really needs some developers...

I correct myself - all input on the nightly build is delayed and floaty. Development has been taken over by a Linux guy without many updates, the last 'nightly' build was over a year ago! Kaiser we need you back!

Ver2.5 works fine for most people until you get to Windows 10...

Appears that the Fall Win 10 update broke mouse support, as it was certainly working for me just a few months ago.

Really odd though for mouse input to be broken this way. Were they getting input in some really unusual way?

"a Linux guy without many updates" here!

You need to update the SDL bundled with the game.

Download https://www.libsdl.org/release/SDL-1.2.15-win32.zip and replace the SDL.dll file, and you should be good to go.
