Great project,easy ,cheap,and looks cool.

I made four of them so far,it makes a huge improvement.
Changed picture from orignal post.

Not a great picture but you get the idea



Left side of picture.To the right of the speaker is a absorber,to eliminate the first deflection of sound.To the left of the speaker is a bass trap,to eliminate standing frequencies.All speakers in the room have this treatment.

Just pine wood,i tried to make them from poly foam to make them lighter but didnt work out to well.Also i forgot to mention i used 1/4 inch plywood for the back then glued togather any sides that were touching.The spaces were there are no blocks is were i used screws to attach it to the wall.The picture of my theater shows four of them so you can kind of get the size.
