"So, I guess, no sammich then? Bulwark mode."
Wheeler smirked, unsheathing his rouges dagger again. the panzer gauntlets on his arms shifting from the sleeker commando more, into the broader, defensive bulwark mode. Dashing as yashamon began to charge energy into his swords, wheeler could feel that he wasn't as fast as he had been before. too bad he couldn't use both modes of the panzer gauntlet at once. tamer had seen this attack a couple of times now, but this time, yashamon was putting his all into it. He could have attempted to avoid the attack all together, but, where would that leave him?
"how bout'a taco!?"
No, he would get nowhere just avoiding attacks. If he was going to beat a digimon, he had to hit, and then hit again, and again, and again, all the while not getting hit. Yashamon was bigger, stronger and faster then him, it could even shoot energy blasts! But in terms of swordsmanship, it was a far cry from a master like victor Delixcroix, and it was no where near as skilled at unarmed fighting as an adept like David lakner. He called him self a brawler, But wheeler, was a martial artist and a damn good one.
The tamer jumped forward as yashamon unleashed his attack, at almost point blank range, but as wheeler shouted, the energy would dissipate into nothing, with wheeler bursting through what was the attack. Martial arts, we're invented for the weak. People who were sick or, disabled, or even just small, so that they could defend themselves from people who were stronger then them. Against people who were weaker, slower, or less skilled then him, Wheeler was a brawler. Against an opponent like yashamon who trumped him in every way, wheeler was a martial artist. His skill, and tenacity would allow him to overcome a stronger opponent. He had faith in himself as a martial artist.
Yashamon had focused a whole mess of energy into that attack, only to have it nullified! It was like, he'd just wasted all of that vast amount of energy and focus on nothing! After focusing so hard, wheeler figured that the yashamon would have his defenses down, and after seeing the attack before, wheeler knew that yashamon's arms would be at his side because of the downward diagonal crossing motion. He'd be wide open! Wheeler through all of his weight with his right fist forward in a flying superman style punch aimed square at Yashamon's mask, as he did, his left was brought to his waist. The second he touched ground, wheeler would let off a left corkscrew punch at yashamon's solar plex.
"Screw The Difference! If I Win, It's Cause I'm Strong! If I Lose, Then I Ain't Strong Enough! The Hell Does Being Human or Digimon Have To Do With It!?"
