If there was anything Renamon loved more then a good scrap, then it was a chance to shut up a couple of wily punks that have been terrorizing the woods. She took the lead, Venus following close behind her as she sniffed, kept her ears keen, and surveyed the forest, looking for the quarry that she and her partner had signed up to try and deal with. She'd go back to that guild if this proved to be fun or challenging, she liked a good challenge.
"So do we even know who were looking for?" Venus asked, doing her best to keep up with her more experienced partner. "Other then its a destructive pair? The poster was sorta...brief" She said, panting as they stopped, Trista sniffing around, getting her bearings.
"Only a troublesome pair. Don't worry, I think We'll know em when we see em" Trista said, smirking back at her struggling partner. "This is the easy part, once we fight them I hope your ready with those cards or whatever" she said, helping the small lizard get through the brush. "I just hope it doesn't do anything too strange..."
"They wont, just focus more on finding them, and well take them out" Venus said, bringing up her omni tool reflexively, dismissing it as they continued going. Who would they be up against?
"I hear somethin'"
"You always hear something!"
"You would too, if you had ears this size! You have any idea how hard it is to sleep when you can hear a twig snap from eighty yards!?"
"As hard as it is to sleep with you whining about it?"
The first speaker was a creature with a spindly, blue fur covered body, and leathery red wings. He had large ears, and his limbs ended in hooks. Two of which were snagged into the large oak tree from which he hung.
The other, female, was a silver shelled insect. Its exoskeleton-covered form was slung low on the ground, trying to sleep in the tree's shade. Long antennae trailed from the back of her head, and there was a large disc mounted above her wings.
"Can't you use your radar to search or something? You are Searchmon, after all."
Searchmon gave a warbling hiss. "Just go look for it. I looked last time." The duo had been meandering around the forest, mugging whomever crossed their path. They'd lived on stolen food for weeks, and spent some of their hard earned bits on drink from a nearby tavern that was willing to look the other way.
"Fine," Pipismon gave a supersonic shriek and dropped from the tree, and fluttered off in the direction of the noise he heard. His ears worked as he drew closer, and then his eyes caught it too, two approaching Digimon. He landed quietly in a tree, and noticed that the duo was heading right for their impromptu camp.
