"You don't have to look so worried all the time now, you know," The Leomon's deep rumble soothed Riley's nerves as he let a large paw rest on the teenager's left shoulder. "It's alright now."

Riley looked up at his partner and smiled. His forearms fell gingerly over the rusty and frail fencing of the balcony as he gazed at the skyline of the city. It was nearing sunset and the the sun's rays caught the clouded sky perfectly, as red, orange, yellow, and purple light bounced off of the many skyscrapers and sparkling buildings of the city. It was peaceful now. The serenity of the scene was quite new and distinct to the trio, but they enjoyed it nonetheless.

"Coming in!" The thunderous roar of Tas in his perfect stage echoed throughout the sky and his silhouette in front of the setting sun grew and grew, until the large dragon digimon was headed at full speed toward Riley and Baren. Once he got closer to the two he dipped below the building out of sight and then quickly reappeared, flying parallel to the building so the inside of his wings and belly were inches away from Riley's face as he shot back up toward the sky. The force of his flight and loud chuckle caused the balcony and fence to shake vigorously. Riley watched his partner soar up to the top of the clouds, shaking his head at Tas' amusement and at the same time marveling at his innate ability. The digimon quickly darted back down toward the building, while de-digivolving to his Demi V-mon form and landing forcefully on Baren's shoulder.

"You guys don't even know how beautiful it is up there man," The little one muttered between short pants. "The city is so....perfect!"

From high above Taz could definitely see it clear as day. Observing the city it was hard to miss something that was so out of place. It was a black fog that was cutting out the lights, a complete darkness that consumed and killed all sources of light. It looked like a shining red star was in the midst of that darkness. Even looking at the Red glowing substance inside of the unnatural darkness gave a sort of uneasiness to Taz. It was the feeling one had when you were afraid, but there was nothing to fear. The Fog wrapped around the abandoned structure and dissipated when the mysterious red glow went inside of it.

The loud creaking door let a screech throughout the abandoned building. A taller man dressed in a full black Attire with a golden eye and a Dban Digivice placed upon his wrist entered. Staring quickly towards where Riley and Leomon were. His Mantle looked broad and it hid allot of his body, his hood was off and he kept a single eye closed. It was a nuisance after all when he looked at people with that eye of his. A Yellow Kunemon could be seen crawling out of the mans hood and a white Viximon trying to stay in the shadows of his cloak.

Sitting on the mans shoulder the Kunemon would lay to rest the first greeting. "Heyo~ What are you guys doing here!" The Kunemon said in a sort of accent that made it seem that Riley and his partners were not welcome.

Victor lifted his hand to place it in front of the Kunemon revealing the Viximon in his cloak who fearfully wandered into the shady side of Victors mantle. "Be Silent Firyokutai..." He would say and walk towards the center of the room, eye closed he presented a hand over to Riley openly. "I am Victor Delixcroix... Digital Knighthood, Pleased to make your... Well that is... You are welcome to be here, even if Firyokutai protests it." Victor said with a nod his heavy steps echoed throughout the abandoned apartment building.

Alexis the adorable white Viximon started tugging at Victors pant leg. "Victor I don't like that guy... I-It's dangerous to go wandering around you know! We aren't supposed to be in the digital city..." The Viximons complaints might have sounded like a high pitched anonymous whining to Riley but Leomon could hear the words ring true.

Alexis obviously feared that tamers of the light did not have any love for the name Victor Delixcroix. For him to come to the digital city was a sin but for him to go to the apartment complex that he lead an army against... It was almost unforgivable.

Victor would look around with an exploratory glance he could still see the tattered remains of the hallways... The Somnia families apartments, The next floor up was Cleo, His, and AJ's apartments. The building was actually quite massive but a hole pierced through from the roof to a scorched crater on the main floor from Ogre's finishing touch upon the building. Insomnia's punishment to try and scare the tamers away from ever contesting her rule of the digital world.

"I must ask though young boy. Did you seek to play in such a dangerous place..?" Victor said narrowing his single golden eye. Victors age really showed when he made comments like that...

"Heyo~ What are you guys doing here!"

The three quickly turned toward the calling and prepared themselves. While the voice of the digimon did not sound very intimidating, the tone was not friendly. Riley grunted and quickly grasped his card pack on the side of his belt. Slow, ominous, and booming footsteps introduced a shadowy figure who emerged from beyond the entrance to the balcony. Riley's brow furrowed when the human's face became visible. The man was dressed in all black, with streaming silver hair, and one of his eyes was closed. But what surprised Riley the most was the man's age. He had to be at least over 35, well older than anyone he had previously met in the digital world by a large margin. There was a certain sense of despair and fear that the man seemed intent on instilling, evident by his strong demeanor. Riley met the man's piercing look with cold eyes that were not phased by the group's sudden appearance.

The Digital Knighthood? That was something knew to Riley. It sounded ancient and impressive, but Riley wasn't quick to assume things. Judging by what he had known to be true in this world, it was easy to make up a name for yourself. The Valor was nearly extinct but the title was strong enough to stir up some respect from those who knew about it. Riley was careful to not mention the group when he returned Victor's handshake with a brisk, firm grip.

"I'm Riley. This is Baren and Tas," he answered. "Sorry, I didn't think we were intruding." Riley quickly became cautious of Victor. He didn't feel at ease around him, and he wasn't going to blatantly admit it, but the thought of Victor being a dark tamer didn't seem too farfetched. He left that aside from now and tried to block out the judgments his mind was conceiving. Riley offered a pathetic excuse for a grin. "Danger tends to follow us." His eyes carefully watched Victor examine the building. "Have you been here before? This is the old apartment complex, right? It was attacked a long time ago. I wasn't there, but I know about it..."

"Why don't you like the city?" Tas leaped off of Baren's shoulder so he was now close to the Viximon. He was curious as to what she was hinting at earlier to Victor, and he was certainly less intimidating in his Demi V-mon state than Baren right now.

Riley would be fast to notice Victors blade upon his right hip... He shook Rileys hand with his right hand. It was definitely a sign of disrespect and caution, maybe not known in modern times one should always offer the hand they are the most combat proficient with in a handshake. Though maybe Victor was just showing Riley he was capable of defending himself. He must have been uneasy as he could tell before he even entered the building the Alexis wouldn't be able to keep up in combat as she was just a stray that joined the team... She had just began her training as a knight but she still fought like a wild animal... Victor said she was not to battle because she would also die like a wild animal.

"It is good to meet you... Riley, Baren, Tas. This is Firyokutai, he is my second. Alexis here is a squire." He said with a nod and he looked away as he didn't feel he was intruding. Victor knew he wasn't, but Victor had strong feelings about this place the first proving of his power in the digital world. All he had to do was kill all his friends in the digital world... Then Insomnia would bring him back to his lover Seere in the real world.

Victor betrayed Insomnia back then... Victor couldn't bring himself to kill innocents so Insomnia created a Malicious Virus to controll Victor through fear. A constant reminder that even while Insomnia had faded away her Virus still existed in the digital world.

"Your not intruding I suppose. I am just a little defensive of this place, I have allot of memories here, a lot of prayers to offer. I hope you will excuse me." Victor said with a nod and put his hands on the railing leaning over and surveying the destruction. Victor and Firyokutai Knocked out the power but Victor helped his closest friends escape. Everyone else was incinerated by Ogre's attack in the confusion. AJ and Victor came into combat as AJ was angry because Victor didn't even try to save anyone but his closest friends. Victor didn't care about anyone but his closest friends though and it made the people who were young... Who would think everyone could be saved! Ignorant people who didn't understand Victor was really a hero.

Alexis waddled out to greet Taz, the little fluff looked hardly intimidating as it offered a girlish smile to Taz. She seemed fairly friendly the white fluff looking up at him with Icy blue eyes.

"Danger follows me too but it is the nature of my attire I suppose. Perhaps I should consider dying my hair red. Then maybe I won't look so scary yes yes?" He said with a grin at Riley. Maybe caught off guard when Riley asked him if he has been there before... Victor figured he could be honest. "I used to live here, Apartment 201... I was also here when Ogre destroyed this place. Very few of us made it out alive, we had faith that the Somnia brothers could stop their sister but that day was the proof that not only were the Somnia brothers gone, But that Insomnia wanted to banish all human kind from the digital world. Only then could she become the queen of the digital world after all." Victor said with a little laugh. That sadistic monster said she would return everyone home to the real world, that they would wake up and it would all feel like a simple dream but Insomnia was killing them!

"The Digital Knighthood exists to remove the influence of human kind from the digital world so the digimon can exist in peace again. All we have created in this world have been problems, but this is why I come to a place like this to reflect. Only in remembering the past can I create a new future where digimon can know peace that we never existed." He said with a smile.

Alexis stared up at Taz who presented his question... Circling around him with a smile, letting her tail drape around his shoulder and looking him in the eye. Personal space wasn't something Alexis understood. "I don't like the digital city because they fear my master..." She let out a soft chuckle. "Kuhuhuhu~ Victor is so noble... Only a true knight could undo the destruction he laid upon the world, only a true knight can undo his own sins and make the world safe for the digimon." Alexis slowly dragged her tail over Taz's shoulders and smiled at him. "Victor can create peace by undoing all the damage humanity brought upon this world. Don't you see we would all be happier and safer should people like Insomnia never came to the digital world? How we could all be safer once Victor..."

Victor would stare down at Alexis who always praised Victor for his actions... she adored his destruction but Victor didn't want to be that person anymore. "I apologize, as would Alexis if she had some manners. A knights duty is his own, telling others your duty is simply an act of arrogance. My role in all of this is I allowed ... THIS ... to happen. So as Alexis said, the only way I can create peace in the digital world is for me to undo the damages my existence have caused. That Insomnia has created, and that all humans bring when they ignorantly enter this world and treat it like some game." Victor would laugh a little his eye still closed.

"Alexis hates the digital city because she fears I will get myself killed offering my prayers in places where I sent everyone to hell." He said with a light laughter. "There isn't enough of the ones chosen by destiny to offer their prayers for the ones lost to time. I will carry all the memories of the sacrifices of the ones who died in my selfishness with me." He said returning to his place on the ledge looking over into the ashen remains... "It could have been very different if there was enough people like you around maybe yes yes?" He said with a smile fondly remembering all the people he used to call his friends.

"Life goes on Vic baby! Your a rolling stone, People are gonna get crushed if they stand in the way!" Firyokutai said in a sing song voice. Victor would sigh... He had a colorful cast of partners between his always the star of the show Firyokutai and the unnaturally seductive Alexis...

"No...no, I understand," Riley said softly. For a moment he felt bad for Victor and his partners. Even though he referred to the two as 'knights' and 'squires', they (like Riley) had been through a lot together. Riley understood first hand what it was like to go through difficult times in the digital world.

He let out a fake chuckle when Victor joked about his hair. That might even be worse. But the awkwardness dimmed when Victor mentioned Ogre's wrath. Riley's spine tickled with chills and goosebumps crept upon the back of his neck and his slight grin fell to a dismayed frown. His eyes lowered and he looked out into the the sunset. Insomnia was no joking matter. She was a monster who thought that eliminating all previous holds over the digital world would solve her problems. And she took advantage of the troubled tamers, whose minds were clouded and boggled with sadistic and ruthless inhibitions. But it was all over now.

"The Digital Knighthood exists to remove the influence of human kind from the digital world so the digimon can exist in peace again. All we have created in this world have been problems, but this is why I come to a place like this to reflect. Only in remembering the past can I create a new future where digimon can know peace that we never existed."

"I don't think I can agree with that," Riley added bitterly. Victor may have had the right intentions, but the logistics of his plan were radical and inhumane. What could he have meant by remove the influence other than destroying tamers and their partners? That was not the way to find peace in the digital world unless the tamers were transported back to earth some other way. Riley believed that there had to be a bigger calling, that humans arriving in this world stood for some bigger purpose than to wreak havoc in the digital world. There was a reason he was here. "I think that we are vital to establishing the peace in this world. You know, even though Insomnia is gone, there are still remnants of her reign in this world. I think we're the ones that need to fix that. Together, as tamers, we're stronger than anything else. We need to use that power to make sure peace is restored, and then we can leave. We have to clean up the mess we made."

Riley was a tad bit shocked by his own words. Leaving? He had spent so much time with Baren and Tas that the digital world had soon become normal for him. In this world he made the best friends of his life and finally had the chance to make an impact somewhere that he could only have dreamed about back home. But Earth was where he belonged, right? He was human after all. And at this moment the truth behind the matter really hit him. He was going to have to leave sometime and he would need to learn to accept that. Riley couldn't explain it logically, but he could feel that his time on this world was ticking. He had some feeling that he wasn't going to be here for the rest of his life and that was a little bit saddening.

"I don't think anyone thinks we are playing a game here," Baren's voice boomed throughout the area. When the Leomon was upset, he held himself so firm and stern that looking at his eyes could lock someone in stone. "This world is still vulnerable...and still dangerous. I believe that has been made clear to everyone."

Tas' large eyes cautiously followed Alexis as she crept around him. He snarled under his breath as she let her tail run along his neck. "If everyone here was like us there wouldn't be any problems," he hissed.

Victor would sile as it seem Riley did understand what it took to be in the digital knighthood. He also felt the responsibility to repair the world because they damaged it through their own actions. It really wasn't enough to have good intentions because as long as there was people in the digital world dark intentions could be thrown out of balance.

Victor was a bit narrow minded but it was surely because of the time and era he was from... He was ruthless by nature and didn't see the value of life that stood against him. Anyone who stood against him was simply an enemy to his intentions which were good at their core. He didn't have much of a mind to talk things out but while Riley did disagree with Victors way of thinking he also seemed to know that Victor was correct in a lot of ways.

"I know... I am on a mission to clear up one weapon of destruction she used to break the hearts of tamers in Doubt. Something that still exists and still works her chaos into the world. Much of the madness of humanity remains, When it is all gone the Knighthood can be gone as well." Victor said with a smile. It was his hopeful dream to rid the digital world of the Virus Insomnia used him to create after all. All of his Hatred, the wars he fought and the intent to murder to protect anything he loved. It was a virus that held your very dreams and ambitions right in front of you and made you believe killing the enemies of Insomnia was the only way to achieve it.

"Non combatants should do their part and escape this world. Children have no place on a battlefield anyways." he said crossing his arms stubbornly. It wasn't so much a statement attacking the American boy as much as he was thinking about how Cleo Rania became someone who could survive the dangers of the digital world. Someone who had lost their innocence witnessing so much death and loss in the world. It wasn't something Victor wished on anyone. "I need to find a way everyone can leave this world before the real battle begins..."

"It is not that they think that the digital world is a game it is just they don't realize its a battlefield. Those who do not have enough conviction to kill would be unwise to stay in the digital world in the coming days. I don't wish to see murderers of children."

He sighed... looking at Riley he could almost see himself though even then he was pale and had silvered hair of the same length as the boy. he was lost on that battle field and it just became a hell of screams where men clashed against the heavy armaments of other men. Victor did what he can as someone who lived with a black smith for a very long time and attacked weak points in armor. 3 kills made before the end of the battle but it wasn't the screams of the battle where anger and emotion was present... It was the eeriness of walking past a field of men lying unconscious, groaning in pain, or dead, ankle deep in blood and stained fully from blood, bruised and battered ready to feint in his heavy armor... Too heavy for a child but it was desperate times.

"You... Have already seen your fair share of killing. I wouldn't place my whims upon the broken. You have seen the hell of a war with Insomnia, I have put my life on the line to save people I cared about from knowing that war but as hard as I tried the might of Ogre and the mind of Insomnia is... Powerful." Victor said opening his closed eye revealing the fearsome fiery red glow. It almost burned just to see and confused but most of all it disoriented someone into a state of fear just from a glance. It had the power to show one their greatest fears but if they could shake those fears and realize they were illusions it wouldn't do as much as it could.

Victor waited until it seemed like Riley and his partners had regained their senses. "Insomnia did this to me, a walking Avatar of the nightmare she could create for you. The knight who swore to destroy her forced to become one of her last weapons in the digital world.... It is sickening." He paused for a moment. "My nightmares do not end because of a Virus Insomnia created. Its something that could drive me crazy. It threatens everyone I love and adore and shows me I can't protect any of them. None of it is real but the dream never ends and sometimes I don't know what is real and what is not. I am not the only one infected either I am just the first..." Victor said closing his red eye again biting his lip uneasily.

"The last thing I can do for the digital world is all is well, if I cannot find a way to return to my own world is die so it will not know another Nightmare from Insomnia's Dark messenger..." Victor said pulling at his silvered locks.

Alexis looked worriedly up at Riley partners afraid that they might take offense in what Victor was. "L-Leave Victor alone..." The little Viximon squeaked backing up to Victors legs looking fearfully up at the Leonmon... She knew she couldn't fight either of them, the data they exuded was far greater than hers... It was even on par with Firyokutai. "H-He is gonna fix the digital world... If he doesn't save everyone he couldn't forgive himself for his part in it all!" Alexis yipped at the Demiveemon.

"Insomnia cursed me because I would do anything to protect what I loved... She threatened my wife with her dark powers so I really had no choice. I set the grounds for Ogres attack on this place. It is my fault so do not hold back a breath of your judgement because I will bear all the sins of Insomnia and the Virus she used me to create..." Victor looked at Riley with his one eye closed.

"You could try and kill me of course, that seems like the most appropriate course of action but I have a less bloody solution. The world has had too much blood shed upon it, especially on these grounds." Victor said nodding solemnly. "Help me Destroy Seere's Dark Infection..." Victor said looking to Riley and pausing. "It is how Insomnia's first Dark Tamers came to be, when it is destroyed sanity can return to the humans of the digital world." Victor said with a slight nod his arms hidden in his cloak which hid his entire body. Victor was no idiot and was ready to draw his weapons should Riley choose to punish Victor for what he had done in the past. Most would choose to try and get revenge against the very first Dark Tamer.

Berserker Eye
A small sapphire amulet shaped like a human eye. It has a small glossy black stone set into its surface that refracts light in a hypnotic way. If a digimon or human looks at the eye for too long, he or she because temporarily unaware of their surroundings and basically confused.
[The effect of this amulet is worked through Victors Red eye.]

"Real battle?" Riley tensed up at the thought of a greater threat than Insomnia. "This great weapon, you're saying this could potentially give the dark tamers the momentum?"

Riley agreed that children didn't deserve to be thrown into this world. Undercutting the great first moments of traveling the world and meeting new friends lied an evil that rivaled some of his world's past tyrants. The digital world was, as Riley and Victor both agreed, incredibly delicate and perilous. One way or another each tamer soon learned that. And according to Victor, things were about to get worse. But where Riley differed from Victor came down to naive and younger tamers who were unaware of this danger. While Victor might choose to eliminate them, Riley would choose to help inform and guide them.

When Victor revealed the sapphire jewel fixed in his eye and immediately Riley was drawn by shock to the beauty of the amulet. His pupils dilated and his hazel eyes dimmed to a gray, transfixed by tunnel vision and paranoia. Suddenly pictures of his past shot through his mind like faded photographs. The images were quick, unlike an extended memory. Artemis' frail body pierced by Slythen's blast, the tightening grip of the Rosemon's thorned whip, the Glacial Kingdom fallen apart, smoke rising from the villages. Insomnia's cold face and disturbing laugh softly passed through Riley's ears. "Stop!" He yelled and fell back against the fencing, holding the top of the rail to keep himself up. Sweat dripped down his brow and his dirty blonde hair fell just above his eyelashes as he glared up at Victor. "What the hell was that?"

"That's it!" Tas charged for Victor but was grabbed by Baren's massive arm and held back.

"Not yet," the Leomon said.

"What..." Riley's shock grew to dismay once he heard Victor's story. Was this virus the reason for him leading the attack? Riley was looking straight into the eyes of one of the first dark tamers to ever enter the digital world. The very same group Riley swore to defeat, yet he couldn't help but feel sorry for him. As much as Riley wanted to end Victor right there he needed to swallow his pride and use the very weapon Insomnia or the dark tamers never had: compassion. Riley's sincerity and hope made him stronger and if he could forgive Victor for what he did then he was one step closer to making the digital world a better place. "I...I forgive you. I won't forget what you did, nor will I accept the Knighthood's way. But I will help you eliminate the virus. But you will need to tell me how."

Victor laughed a little ... gripping his face as Riley asked if it could potentially give dark tamers momentum... "No Riley that is not it you see... This virus turns people like you into the Insomnia's of tomorrow. Never may you sleep without being stricken with nightmares, Never will you wake from the nightmares and see what reality is. Trapped in a waking dream forever and ever where your fears twist reality and make you into a monster. The kind of monster who is willing to do anything! Kill anyone! Just to know the peace of silence and the feel the wind against your back. You would know the peace of the world for just a minute... You could know love... If you do anything it asks of you..." Victor said coldly. He held the virus that lorded over him in a higher scale of fear than Insomnia herself. The Virus never left Victor, no matter what anyone believed Insomnia was just a mortal girl capable of much cruelty. The Virus she created though was as limitless as your abbility to fight it, and it always seemed to win.

"The weapon would make humanity crush this world into a pile of ash and overshadow any mans Destiny... It breaks them and turns them into loyal destructive pets of Insomnia. Who simply beg for the chance not to suffer for one waking second." Victor shivered a little.

Riley looked at Victor in anger as Victor demonstrated the madness the virus induced ... Only for a moment to Riley. His partners looked ready to strike Victor down but Victor was oddly calm, it was because he was a master of combat and saw Baren make the move to stop Taz.

Riley said something that victor had never heard in his time in the digital world Victor almost looked disgusted at that pity in Rileys eyes. He didn't want or need anyones pity! Riley went on to say that he would not endorse the way of Victors knighthood and Victor nodded solemnly. "So be it, The way of the knight is a dangerous one, but the selflessness of the knight is needed in my journey." He said with a nod. Being forgiven still stung especially since Victor didn't want to be forgiven... Yet. He started the knighthood to earn that forgiveness not wordlessly attain it.

"You want to ..." Victor would smirk a bit, his one eye'd glance almost mocking in nature. "This is a corruption of Data we are dealing with, not some mere mortal playing games in the digital world. This is not like Insomnia... But." Victor interrupted himself. "I don't think your ready to face my nightmare." Victor said shaking his head. "You lack the conviction to face Seere as do I." Victor said quietly and a question would sting the air of the minds of ones who did not experience the virus for themselves... Just what the hell is Seere..?

Victor knew two Seere's. Seere the virus and Seere his love. The Virus manifested itself into the thing Victor loved the most, the one thing in the world Victor could never lift a blade to. Last time he attempted it he lacked the conviction to strike anyone but himself in apology for challenging her. Victor perked his eyebrow of his closed eye as he motioned to answer Rileys unsaid question.

"Ah, my apologies young Riley I have not explained fully. Seere is the name of my Virus, a Virus that customizes itself after reading upon its hosts soul. It becomes the one thing you can not bring yourself to stop. You have much love in this world and maybe another. It is selfish for me to ask you to try and meet Seere. My virus terrifies me... I would do anything it asks without question or remorse..."

Victor paused a moment and pulled his bangs placing his fist over his closed eye... Like he was in pain. "That is because I love her and a knight would never hurt someone he loves!!" Victor said trying to calm himself but the voice of Seere was ringing strong in his mind.

"I would ask you a simple question but I wish not an answer, The Virus dwells within me and it must not know the nature of your own heart... But I know you have someone you love as well Riley. Things you are afraid of, things you feel you cannot control in life. Everyone Has something they wish to protect, to cherish, to become stronger for. She will take those things and use them to rip apart your soul tearing through untill she can find the triggers which will move you like her puppet..." Victor looked to be in quite a bit of pain and the Kunemon on his shoulder Bit victor on the neck the pain of that bringing Victor a bit closer back to Reality. Victor was dreaming and the virus was trying to take Riley.

"If you have something that you could never bring yourself to do... Do not attempt to fight the Virus of Insomnia. It will kill you, and leave behind in its wake a monster formally known as Riley." Victor paused a moment and sighed.

"But if your strong of heart, if you can fight the dreams, Face your fears, and keep a firm grip on what is real and what is not... You could be the one who will meet your Virus somewhere in the rifts of the digital world. The rifts that tear this world apart at the seems and break what we thought were the laws of structure in the digital world. If you can face down all the terror and love you could ever know and strike a blow at its heart. You could help everyone inflicted by the virus fight back." Victor paused again and tried to stand up tall.

"I have tried to face my fears and I have succeeded. I cannot face my loved ones though, The Virus knows that and thus is the weapon it uses to hold me. Riley no one has ever succeeded in facing down their demons in the digital world where the virus dominates your reality as you perceive it." Victor laughed. "Some people will never wake from the digital dream! They remain forever in a destructive sway and destroy everything they love and care about in reality. Just. Like. Insomnia." Victor said hitting the very dangerous point home.

"Insomnia was just a normal little girl with a craving for exploration, she didn't feel at hoe in the real world and she found this realm of digital awareness. Insomnia couldn't leave this world, She could also never sleep but that never stopped insomnia from dreaming, but when your afraid and alone in the digital world the virus will find you. It found her scared and confused, wondering where her brothers and family were. It said it would give her the power to have everything she loved but it gave her delusions, insanity that twisted little Somnia's mind into a living hell, where everything she saw hurt her, constant fear of dying, delusions, her reality was stolen from her and in it all she became total darkness. The world found Insomnia in the Dark Ocean. Crying as it were as she writhed helplessly in the darkness and when that virus found the world. Insomnia did EXACTLY as the virus wished her to do! Destroy the digital world. Once everything was gone, after she killed it all away and nothing was left no insanity would grip her. She could sleep in peace."

Victor said crossing his arms looking to Baren. "That is when the Virus discovered the digimon... what a terrifying thing it was when it clawed with its shadowy grips into the mind of the once proud Wargreymon. A defender of the digital world and created the monster you know as Ogre. The Virus doesn't play with digimon as it does with humans which it seems to enjoy the suffering of. It rewrites digimon immediately to the will of the virus! The Virus willed Ogre to protect its host Insomnia as she saught to destroy the digital world... Her first goal primary village and with the virus an entire generation succeeded to her will and became a dark army. Even then the digital world would not fall to her will!"

Victor paused a moment and continued. "That is when the digidestined were summoned to this world to help fight this menace... You all knew it as Insomnia the sleepless one but she was only a little girl and any trained mind could see it. I saw it and went to face her only to discover just what was hiding in the Dark Ocean. Locked in battle with Ogre for the right to see Insomnia my blade made a strike that connected against his armor... A strike that resounded to Insomnia as lady Somnia discovered a way she could fight the virus you see. Digimon couldn't fight the virus... But humans could so she infected me with a portion of the virus. For a long time I thought I was winning. The virus used my sweet Seere Delixcroix against me though ... S-Seere never did anything wrong, she was the image of love and innocence and she has been there for me through endless struggles in reality... I-I couldn't ... I couldn't fight her and the Virus broke me then. Victor was gone and the dark Messenger was born. Traveling the world spreading the power of the virus those who heard my word would become infected. It was the virus's will to make an army of humans to fight against the digimon..."

Victor laughed placing his hands through his hair. "The Dark Tamers which threatened this world... Victims one and all and it all started with one little girl who had to bear the burden of something powerful enough to tear the world asunder. I did everything the Virus asked of me... EVERYTHING I destroyed this building, I attacked defenseles villages in the digital world, I infected other tamers with its violent power... I was granted peace by obeying its every wish... I am not sure if I was dreaming but I slept for the first time in a long time and woke up to Seere. The real Seere! I was so happy... The happiest I ever thought I could be for I thought the nightmare was forever."

Victor scowled a bit... "So imagine my horror when I fall asleep beside my bride and would wake in the digital Forrest." Victor looked very angry ... yelling. "It was true!! Insomnia was dead and the virus' main body returned all its hosts into the nightmare once more! I could have been happy forever! I... I would have done anything to return to Seere back then. I am not sure if the real world is a dream or not but I am happy there! The virus was damaged when Insomnia was destroyed oh yes it was. Perhaps insomnia still exists somewhere... Simply as lady Somnia free to sleep and have her own happy dream."

Victor felt pain in his chest, heartbreak because he left Seere all alone in the real world. Or was it the dream the virus created to keep Victor at peace while Victors Shell ripped apart the digital world as the dark messenger. Victor didn't know but he knew nothing was real or ever would be real untill the virus was defeated in all the hosts.

Victor went down on his knees. "I ask that you do not forgive me for what I have done! You should hate me and hate everyone who submitted to the virus... The virus that makes all things hell and promises heaven. That heaven only brings hell to others though and I submitted to that heaven... I wanted to be with my love. More than I could will myself to protect this world or my friends within it. I sacrificed everything to be beside Seere so do not forgive me..."

Victor looked up tears welling up in his one open eye a large amount rolling down his cheek of his closed eye. "I selfishly ask you help me fight the virus though... I can't do it alone, there are too few hosts and the virus is too powerful without Insomnia holding it back! It wants to return me to the digital dream! Trap me there while it uses me to destroy this world! So please! Tamer Riley I ask that you help me fight it... Its a selfish request to ask you to bear the virus so you may fight it as I do but if your strong of heart... You could make all the difference in the world to everyone still fighting their madness."

Victor bowed his head pausing... He really could not have asked for a more extreme favor. This virus was old and powerful. It was passed almost a thousand years down the bloodline of the Delixcroix to infect people like David Lakner. It attacked all of Victors closest friends. Victor didn't know how to fight it. He needed Riley among others to strike a blow and help him see reality and break through the digital dream.

"If you ... Manage to weaken the virus enough that I might face my own demons... I will earn your forgiveness by saving everyone from the virus that passed from Insomnia to me and to all dark tamers in this world. I swear to god I will save them all..." Victor said keeping his head bowed low. It was a heavy toll to be asking someone to LET the virus infect them so that they could fight it. Like any cancer you had to be infected to start fighting it.
