It is a short lived Victory as in time they do forget the skills you made them learn.... And crazily enough sometimes they don't become Sukamon or Numemon sometimes if you let them crap endlessly all over themselves.

Ouh? Don't they only loose skills when they get killed in battle?

This game was fun but I could never get to the ultimate level except for Monazamon. Made me kind of angry cause I had they guide and everything to tell but I never gave up. I'm still to this day trying to get Ultimates. XD The one good thing is that my tamer level is slowly going up with all of the digimon I've had.

Lol, I found it pretty easy to get to ultimate once I had the guide. I suppose that depends on the person.
My trick is to plan a route all the way to ultimate. That way, you can use both baby, in-training, rookie, and champion level to train to ultimate. You just focus on getting the champion level ready first, and once those skills are in place(can sometimes be achieved already in in training form(Meramon. He only needs 100 in offense). And from there on, you can just keep training till offense is high enough to evolve into Metalgreymon or Andromon, as that is the only two ultimate levels he can become.

You should probably go for Andromon, as he is one of the easier ultimates.

It also happens rarely when they are reborn with the highest level skills. It tends to be very bothersome.

Lol, I can imagine that being quite irritating.

When I grind them to get there skills up they often die before I can get to the Ultimate form. It makes me rather upset as I get so close and then they just died off. Though they kept all of the skills they learned it just meant I had to start over and over and over again. I even tried Centarumon to Digivolve into Andromon cause the skills weren't that high and it still failed. Though I was closer with Bakemon skills to get him to Skullgreymon. So close and then they just go away and become a digitama again.

Lol, I know the feeling though. I remember countless of hours playing with my friends in the Faroe Islands. We'd always get frustrated since we never managed to get past Champion/adult level(Either that, or we'd get mad because it became Numemon :P )...

I got Skullgreymon once. It was nothing but dump luck for me though <.>;; I had somehow managed to get Metal Greymon, and he ended up dying in battle. Then, after the black screen disappeared, and I was in Jijimon's house, it suddenly digivolved to SkullGreymon. I was overjoyed XD Especially since I was actually trying for SkullGreymon when I got Metalgreymon.

But anyway, best thing to do is to keep trying. Maybe get as many champion/adult levels as you can, to raise your tamer level. I think your starting stats are better the higher the tamer level.
