"Digital World...?" Amy's murmur could have been taken for one of confusion. It might have sounded unprofessional too, but she was too surprised to care. Not because she hadn't heard of such a place, but because she had. An e-mail received by the parents of a Boogeyman victim, supposedly from their daughter, had mentioned the place as well. Could it be real? Or was this boy somehow connected with those who had sent what could have been a fake e-mail. A story of alternate dimensions was a great way to throw the scent off a perfectly natural explanation. Even plain old Earth was a big enough place to make a few hundred kids disappear, unfortunately.
"People deserve to know," Amy said, smoothly falling back to the stand by of reporting, even in the face of Cyrus's clear desire to escape. "Did you see any of the other missing children?"
Home; it's where we all began our lives...but we can't get back either, can we?
