Hello Dear Followers of my Site, with a little sadness I have to announce that a few days ago GRIFFY informed me
that he's going to cease his collaboration with my projects IGL and DWBL.
Nothing is wrong between him and me, but like in real life, after many years of work a person retires.
Our collaboration started in 2004 so it's understandable that after 13 years of continuos work a man take the choice to stop and relax.
The situation is even more understandable if you think that we are talking about a virtual collaboration, where all the efforts you put are free.
Griffy never received a single dollar for all the hours he dedicated to my projects, putting all his efforts to help me with the game DWBL,
preparing the files that I need for the management and writing reviews, articles and interviews for IGL.
I know how much it takes to do that so I'm sure that he spent at least a part of every day working on DWBL and IGL.
That's why I didn't try to convince him not to quit when he said he would like to retire!

The only thing I can say to him is:

MILLIONS OF "THANK YOU" GRIFFY FOR WHAT YOU DID FOR ME IN THESE 13 YEARS!

MY PROJECTS WOULD NEVER BE LIKE THEY ARE NOW IF YOU DIDN'T HELP ME ON DEVELOPING THEM

Griffy and me agreed that he will continue to follow DWBL and IGL time to time as a simple fan,
but he also knows that if in the future he wants to add a contribution to my projects, the doors are opened!

Good luck for your real life Griffy!

Open Letter to President Denav and IGL Members

President Denav,
This is a day of mixed emotions – joy and sorrow. After many memorable years as a competitor in the IGL, I formally announce my retirement from active competition. The timing of this declaration may seem inappropriate but Tommy and I have given this much thought. As you know we have a young daughter Clytis Marie who is our pride and joy. We hope to add another child to our family. We have considered the prospects of two children with great anticipation. If we are not blessed with a self-conceived infant, there are many children who are orphaned that we might seek to adopt. With this desire for another child, it was our decision to relinquish the IGL American Middleweight Championship. It is completely unacceptable to put forth less than complete dedication to the defense of this prestigious championship. Therefore we have resolved to retire from further boxing competition and focus on our familial goals. It has been our great privilege to participate in this wonderful boxing league. We pray that you will support our decision in this matter as you have so faithfully done throughout my career. Both Tommy and I will continue to follow the progress of this special women’s boxing league. We wish the very best to the management, contenders and fans as the IGL continues to prosper and grow in the future.

Farewell and God Speed,

Tommy and Destiny Perkins

Ciao Griffy e grazie!

Jumbo,

It has been my gain to participate in this fine program. Getting to know people like you who share my love for women's boxing and the images and careers created. God bless you. Griffy

THANKs A LOT GRIFFY!

It will be a pity not to read your reviews anymore, I think I read them all.
I really love the way you tell the fight actions and the good ideas about things that happens before or after the fight. The pace of reading is high and never boring.

Anyway there are a lot of journalists who writes articles after the retirement so I hope that sometimes I will read your name under a IGL review.

Bye

To the other collaborators:
Please don't get upset, you are doing a great job, too... but we are at Griffy's Leaving Party so all my positive comments going to him
