Home track. 420 Day. I gotta make it.

Congrats on the win Mike!
I took a bit of a gamble on my stop, taking only rear tires.  It was going to be really close on my fronts ... no guts no glory, eh?  Wasn't surprised when I saw Doni take fuel only, but knew I had time to catch up if I kept it clean, which I somehow managed to do.  Thrilled with 2nd place in that one!

Thanks Trae! Nice drive to you, too. That's a challenging version of Laguna Seca. I don't know how Doni milked those rears.

Congrats on the win, Mike. Great run for you, Trae. I'm glad I got to participate. Good fun as always. I was pleased to actually have a faster Q lap than Mike for a short amount of time. I was able to pit without incident, but took all four tires; and didn't have the pace to make up any time. I recall several races I enjoyed watching while Laguna was still in this configuration. Not a place for the weak of heart.

Making a quick report...

Grats, Mike!  So far, a sweep!  Great job for P2, Trae!

Jimmy...  You were so strong!  Well done, bud!  Did you lose time in a stop?  I trust that you know that damage can be cancelled off from repairs?  If you don't, your stop will take ages.

I enjoyed running just behind Trae in the early laps and could just hang on.  By the time most everyone had pitted, my vision was giving up.  By the time I called for service, I could barely distinguish the roadway from the sand and it was a visual nightmare.  Over the last dozen laps or so, I really didn't care much what happened.  Just struggled to get the AAR 'cuda home.  I won't do that again.  Any more trouble along those lines and I'll just park.

I've kept my computer terminal time to an absolute minimum for the last few days looking to have the eyeballs recover to some degree.  Fingers X'd...
