Amber's post on the accomplishment thread surprised me. I didn't think my commute at about 210 miles per week was that outrageous.. especially considering that last year my commute was about 350miles/week.

How far do yall travel to get to and from work?

10.2 miles each way 5x a week. So 20.4 x 5 = 102 miles.

If your commute from your house is only 8 miles, Smirk, why do you bother with a "work" apartment? Company paid? I'd get that!

My commute in 26 miles round trip. Takes me about 15 to 20 minutes each way. It would be faster (in time) except there is really only one way in and out of Pacific Beach, so I spend the first 8 to 10 mins just getting to the freeway.

My commute is 3.7 miles each way (37 miles a week) Ironically, I wish it was a little longer. If I want to ride my bicycle it's barely a workout and I still get the sweat of a 50 mile ride, and driving I only get time to listen to 2-3 songs. I used to use my commute time to get my head in the game before work and depressurize on the way home. I think a 8-10 mile commute would be perfect for me.

Eh.

8 miles door to door each way.

It can take up to an hour or more on the way home if I take the freeways though, so I usually take surface streets. It's about half an hour on surface streets.

According to my gps, it's 12.1 miles, 21 minutes. I call b.s. 84 is a nightmare and its usually closer to 27 minutes- even though I'm going the opposite direction of most of the rush hour traffic.

I if drop the dog off at my friend's for "daycare" it's more like 19 miles and 30 minutes.

I haven't been less than ten minutes late since I moved here on memorial day.

Yes. Its free. Had it since before SO and no one's taken it away from me, so I'm keeping it. I keep the dog there during the day while I work and then can walk him at lunch. I actually thinks it helps the "relationship" since then SO isn't required to fake orgasms but a few times a week with my morning wood poking into her back.

And get with the times, Anon, these are the days of fleshlight. Times they are a-changin'
