Some folks at work are planning a class reunion (class of 1969) and they need suggestions for some songs that would be appropriate for a candle light vigil/ memorial type of thing for their classmates that have passed away.

Any suggestions?
They didn't think "Another One Bites The Dust" would be appropriate.

'In My Life' was played at my best friend's funeral. That was in college in 1998. I still tear up a bit when I hear it played.

We made a CD for her boyfriend (very cutting edge at the time) and some of the songs on that CD were: 'Into the Mystic' - Van Morrison, 'Crazy Train' - Ozzy, 'How Deep is Your Love' - Beegees, 'In My Life' - Beatles, 'A Little Help from my Friends' - Beatles.

That is all that I remember. I wish I had a copy of that.

'Dust in the Wind' comes to mind but upon Googling, I find that it was not released until 1977.
