My buddy and I were chatting about how this year, 2012, we are supposed to see huge inflation and gas prices becoming (becoming?) outrageous and cost of living getting out of control, etc.

He said, Bider, just start stocking up on EVERYTHING that can store well. Rice, instant potatoes and start vacuum sealing everything, even cereal. Needless to say this conversation quickly turned to zombies.

Anyway, his comments have been kinda bothering me because I am in no way ready for any kind of disaster.

Just now, I stumbled on this:http://www.myfoodstorage.com/

I'ma gonna start saving my pennies and try to buy some of this stuff. It is a Mormon thing which makes sense.

If we shared, we would only have enough food for a week each. I was planning on living at least a month, if not more.

+ 2 cartons of Camel Filters

...and the two cases of Pepsi would severely hamper my mobility.
