Nets trade brook lopez and their first round pick #27 to the lakers for deangelo Russell and Timothy Mosgov

Very good trade for the Nets. Lopez is very good, but is 10 years older than Russell
Yes Russell doesn't play defense and has an attitude
But he's 21 and was the #2 pick overall 2 years ago

Mozgov has a horrible contract. But the nets have cap space to burn and he's ok

I'll have to burn my Lopez jersey though

I don't know what the Lakers are thinking. They just blew up their plan mid stream.

If NY trades Porzingis, I give the fuck up.

I think Porzingis is way overrated but it would be dumb to trade him.

I heard that Porzingis blew off his exit interview with the Knicks.

Also, Dwight Howard got traded to the Hornets.

Dwight is a lockerroom cancer and refuses to play to his strengths.

Porzingis did it out of protest to Jackson's stance on Carmelo, feeling it's stupid to trade someone "so he can win somewhere else."

Howard can fuck off and leave the NBA. I don't know why anyone wants him these days. His best days are long over (at least in NBA time).

And he makes games unwatchable.

Phil has been a real disaster in New York. He's obsessed with the triangle even though he has no players for it.

Phil pushing his style onto players instead of utilizing their strengths has been a massive headache to watch unfold. NY can't seem to get anything right in the front office. They had a few .500 seasons in the last decade, but the team has been mostly trash since 2001.

They had that like one season where they were kind of good and then they traded for Bargnani because that's what they do.

I agree that Melo has to go. He's a loser and they've tried multiple configurations of teams around him and it never works. You just aren't going to get anywhere with him as your best player and I don't think he'll settle for being second fiddle.

It says a lot about the state of the franchise that a good but not franchise altering player like Porzingis has people so excited. But that team is a total shitshow. The Rose/Noah experiment was absolutely not the right way to go. I'm pretty sure we're about to watch them give all their draft picks away again.
