The first issue of the new 'Captain Marvel' series came out... and not only did Carol Davers change her costume, but also her HAIRSTYLE as well!

She ditched her long flowing mane for a MOHAWK!

What other odd hairstyle changes do you consider for this thread?

Jeremy.

Storm's time with the mohawk springs quickly to mind.

"Punk-rock, mid-90's Storm" was an all around terrible design.
What "World of Warcraft" players see when they're not playing.....

*Sigh* Jeremy, this is part of your recurring hairstyle fetish, no?

Mohawk:

Weird hair, but NOT a Mohawk:

Storm had her punk-rock look and mohawk in the mid-80's. In the mid-90's she had a look similar to her Fox cartoon appearance, although they began to work back in her original tiara design from the 70's in mid-1995.

I think Colossus looks bizarre bald. Same for Superboy, circa 2005; they had trouble making him appear young, so he looked like Lex Luthor in a Superman t-shirt.

Nightwing's early 90's pony tail was always a point of argument. His long hair/mullet look worked for him, but the pony tail didn't.
