Not including wrestling and from what I can remember, I have recently purchased

The Complete Marx Brothers sets (yeah, I had to buy two sets to get the complete set)
Toy Story 3 (thanks to SamoaRowe)
Chip 'N Dale Rescue Rangers Vol. 1 & 2

My collection, according to the last update, is really out of date.

My tax return saw me purchasing some random TV shows:

Weeds Seasons 1-6
30 Rock Season 5
Community Season 1
Walking Dead Season 1 Special Edition

And also Royal Rumble 2011. It's the only non-Wrestlemania PPV I've bought on DVD in a loooooong time. And ultimately I bought it because I went to the show.

6 years without a post. To follow up on my last response, my collection is REALLY outdated, especially since it's all Blu-ray, except for stuff that never got the transfer from standard DVD (the world DEMANDS a blu ray for POPEYE!)

My DVD/Blu-ray habits have become somewhat boring. I typically buy a lot around Black Friday, but that's about it. I've also been sticking mainly to stuff based on comic books.

I did get some random movies on my last trip to Big Lots:

The Spy Who Loved Me
Martha Marcy May Marlene
Birdman
Preacher Season 1 (Dollar General deal)

I always pick up the animated DCU films when they're on sale or in discount bins. Last year I acquired:

Justice League vs. Teen Titans
Teen Titans: The Judas Contract

A pile of PWG DVDs.
Gran Torino
Volver
Borat
Phonebooth
TNA Cross the Line Collection 2
Rendition
X-Men: The Animated Series 1-2
Futurama: Into the Wild Green Yonder

And other stuff, since January.
Man, I was buying stuff for the sake of buying stuff back then.

Yu Yu Hakusho - I eventually bought the entire series but never finished it. Fell out somewhere in the late 3rd season, early 4th season.
Simpsons Seasons - YES! Good times had by all.
Gran Torino - never watched it, got rid of it after a few years when I realized I was never going to be in the mood for it.
Volver - I honestly can't remember if I ever sat down and watched this. Either way, I don't own it anymore.
Borat - watched it one more time and ditched it around the time I moved into my house.
Phonebooth - same as Borat. This was a better rental than something I wanted sitting on my shelf forever.
TNA Cross the Line - I still have all my TNA dvds.
Rendition - I know I watched this one, can't remember much of anything about it. Pretty boring movie that I got rid of.
X-Men DVD's - YES! Glad to own these.
Futurama Movie - I don't think I enjoyed this one. The revived Comedy Central seasons were better.

Batman: Bad Blood - cheaply animated, kind of a bummer when I'm used to high quality animation from Batman: TAS and other shows. I still enjoyed this one, it was cool to see Batwoman and Batwing presented and I found myself caring for both of them. Good use of Damien Wayne too.

I continue to replace my old DVD's with blu ray releases. I'm down to about a list of 30 movies to complete which ones I've previously owned that are worth keeping and replacing. Latest batch that came in: Commando, My Cousin Vinny, Total Recall (Arnold, not the unnecessary remake), and Sing (yeah, it's animated. There's really no difference, but...). Also picked up Last Jedi and The Disaster Artist this week. I know we're in an age where buying physical media is a thing of the past, but all I have to say is my VCR is still hooked up to watch old Coliseum Videos. I don't give a fuck what today's era tells me to do.
