Ouch, I'm surprised that the Backlash buyrate was so weak considering that it was a well promoted show. It's impressive that Judgment Day even did that well considering how it had virtually no buzz going into the event and everyone figured that it would have ended with JBL celebrating a second world title victory.

Although he, as a born-again Christian, was hardly thrilled with the DX antics, he had yet to make a public complaint due to fear of coming across as "difficult."

He was, however, extremely set off by the "oral sex scene" that took place on Monday's RAW, and asked for a meeting with Vince McMahon about DX's direction. Sources are not yet aware of the status of that meeting.

Shawn Michaels will get knee surgery following the culmination of the DX angle, which was largely designed to boost summer ratings while helping HHH transition to babyface.
Get over it. If you'll do a tag team match where your partner is supposedly God, you can handle this.

World Wrestling Entertainment has signed former Million Dollar Tough Enough competitor Daniel Rodimer. A Florida native, Rodimer played semi-pro football for the Tampa Bay Barracudas and competed for about five weeks on the Smackdown version of Tough Enough, eventually won by Daniel Puder. Rodimer, likely best remembered for his cockiness during the competition, will be assigned to the Deep South Wrestling developmental territory.

I also want to know how you have fucking Jerry Lawler and Ted Dibiase sitting around backstage at WWF shows and not a single worker on the roster can throw a good punch. Every person signed should be required to learn from Lawler in this area.

I'd say that would be yet another nail in the coffin for this bastardized version of ECW.

Because it wasn't "extreme rules". Or because the WWE hasn't a clue about anything?
