Same with Kendrick. They almost had something when he confronted Hogan and Bischoff a few weeks ago but then he jobbed to Abyss. He really needed to win that match.
I thought Kendrick was going to win that match also. I like Abyss but not as X-Division champ. They should just leave that belt for the cruiserweights. I know Samoa Joe held that belt before too and it was dumb then

Speaking of Samoa Joe, he is another one that has fallen far. He should be pushed better. I'm sure Crimson will beat him at the PPV. Crimson is talented, but he is green.

Ken Anderson, the problem is that the Asshole gimmick wore out fast. On the mic he is very funny at times but it gets repetitive.

I know you can't push everyone at once, but they have alot of talent. But too much Bischoff/Hogan/network crap. And the storylines for the most part suck.

Went to the Impact Tapings in Knoxville last night, and sat front row directly across from the camera. If you watch in two weeks you'll see yours truly next to the bald dude with the goatee.
I have to admit, the show was much better live than I've seen on TV. The wrestling, for the most part, was good. It didn't feel like any other wrestling show I've been to, including RAW and Nitro, though. Borash kept fluffing the crowd and none of the matches wre given time to set in before he came out to do that. Well worth the ticket price, and I'm not just saying that because Velvet Sky was standing in the corner in front of us during her tag match

I forgot that TNA has been doing shows away from Orlando, FL. Maybe I'll check out a full episode of Impact to see how the show comes across. And yes, I forgot TNA isn't TNA, it's Impact Wrestling. UGh...

Caught that Sting/Flair match from a week or two ago, and wow... I remember making fun of Flair's physical appearance and age in 2002 when he was jobbing to Rico, but he looked pathetic in that match. Sting doesn't look much better, but he's at least wearing singlets to cover his torso. Flair just looks like a 70 year old man flopping around at around 5% the same capacity he used to.

Flair wasn't at the taping, but Sting and Hogan were most of the second show. Sting doesn't look as bad as Hogan in person, but he was wearing face paint. My buddy and I were talking about the fact that Sting may not be 5 star quality in the ring anymore, but his character is incredibly watchable because he seems motivated by it.

I was surprised that the only time we saw AJ, RVD, Daniels and Jerry Lynn was in a tag match together. Here you have 4 incredibly talented workers, and you push them into a match together, while Joe fights Crimson and Matt Morgan seperately, and Gunner is in two matches. It doesn't really make sense from the perspective of "getting the most out of your investment." If I'm paying those guys to come to town, I want to use them well. Jeff Hardy didn't wrestle either, which is more understandable because of how his last match worked out. But he was in the show twice that I can remember.

The cameramen and Borash were trying to milk the crowd coming back from commercial, and it really didn't come across well. WWE shows I've been to tell you that they're coming back from commercial and be excited, but TNA uses the "we're giving backstage passes to the loudest fans" line every time, and you just get annoyed seeing Borash. Also, after seeing him in person I now know that he is definitely a gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that. The problem with the backstage pass line comes when you're still telling fans that there is a chance to go backstage before the final segment, and then you thank the fans that went backstage directly after the final segment. Everyone smelled the fart at once on that one.

Best moment of the night came during the Knockouts tag when Velvet Sky and her tights wedgie waited to tag in directly in front of us. The whole row was happy with that, including several "Well, that $100 just paid off" comments. Too many jokes kept everyone in the front row laughing, which will probably ruin the segment on TV. But how can you not feel awkward sexual tension when your firmly planted between large men while staring at a woman's ass? Especially when we were all talking about how our wives never want to watch wrestling before the show.

It was well worth the $100.

Well. Worth. It.

What wasn't worth the $100? The "VIP Meet & Greet" before the show. Everyone who had a front row seat was let in early and taking downstairs, where Kazarian, Traci Brooks, AJ Styles, Brian Kendrick, Jesse Neal, Abyss, Shannon Moore, and Earl Hebner were sitting at a table. They signed a stack of Impact Wrestling themed pages and passed them along at a high rate of speed. Not RVD high, mind you. They would sign something if you brought it, but only one thing per ticketholder. I neither met, nor greeted any wrestler because ATLAS Security was pushing us quickly. The only one I actually care that I got their autograph was AJ.

Not a bad show, really, but after having been to ROH I was a little let down. But lets face it, this is TNA, and the fact that I had fun was more than I was expecting.

BTW, when you see me on TV chanting "Next World's Champ" at Bobby Roode, what I'm actually saying is "Don't put the belt back on Hogan, Sting, or Angle."

Well, Velvet Sky won the Knockouts title for the first time and we couldn't have two first-time championship wins in a single night.

411mania reposted reports that Hulk Hogan lobbied to not have Roode win the title, as he was originallys scheduled to.

Ugh, unless something awesome happens as a result, Angle going over Roode is the worst booking decision since CM Punk left with the title and came back a week later.

No offense to TNA, but Bound for Glory is no WrestleMania, so holding off on their big title change isn't going to make a difference what PPV is on. Maybe with the new head writer, they have something better planned? Trying to stay positive for once, I am.
