I'm really surprised that some right-wing redneck hasn't stated that "more guns" would stop this kind of stuff.

Yep, Do we REALLY want teachers to carry guns?

So maybe all the coaches and fans should have glocks strapped on their side. Yep, that would have really been a pretty sight.

No I guess you're the only person ignorant enough to think of something that dumb. You wouldn't happen to be a redneck would you? Maybe a Chiggar Ridge Resident.

Cullman Alabama... The laughing stock of America.

Al.com has said there is a possibility the peanilties will come from AHSAA late this afternoon. I doubt the have anyone on the inside giving them a heads up; so it is simply anyone's guess about when the penalties will be announced and what they will be. Although I do agree that the systems were warned they intended to get tough on unsportsmanship conduct and up the penalties to "get people's attention since the past several years has seen a rise in incidents. Then right out of the shoot the entire state is embarrassed and humiliated by Cullman and Walker.

AL.COM says the penalties will be not only to send a message to the two coaches, but to all coaches and systems there is no way this type behavior will be tolerated at all. So expect the penalties against both schools to be severe. There seemed to be a concensus this afternoon both will be fined heavy, both coaches will be benched for a peroiod of time and

BREAKING : DECISION JUST IN

if the opposing coach wants to beat up on you you have to just stand there and take it .That is stand there until he knocks you down and then his football players start kicking you .At that time do not show that they have made you angry just smile thru the blood and walk away .

That will not be a good thing. Walker got a more severe penalty so it should be even. You want more punishment, make AHSAA even more unhappy with the whining.

Delete. Let it be a learning experience

Like Manzel, everyone will be looking for coaches and players to exhibit any thing considered unsportsmanship.

Everyone will have to be really careful!

alker issued a statement apologizing for the incident and accepting the sanctions issued by AHSAA.

Now that both systems have accepted their sanctions it is time to learn from it and move on. The sanctions are very fair to both schools and are less than I expected.

Some states have the "he just needed killin" defense. Maybe " he just needed hittin" is a justifiable defense in Walker County.
