Ahhh, Mirrors.

It is said that our reflections in them are actually our souls being projected back to us.  Supposedly, that is why breaking them cause 7 years of bad luck; breaking the mirror breaks the soul and it takes 7 years for our souls to recover.  It is also why vampires have no reflection-they have no soul.

Throughout the world there are myriad of myths, folklore, and legend echoing similar beliefs about mirrors showing one at least a part of one's soul.  Given that, maybe it is not so weird that many of us crossdreamers find that many our fantasies feature mirrors in someway.  To look into a mirror and to see our inner woman or inner man staring back.

So, with that in mind, lets use this thread to talk about, or just post images of how mirrors relate to our own fantasies!

With that, let me share one of my favorite images (which I probably shared before):

I love mirror pics. I'll start off though with a classic Norman Rockwell painting.

I really find the mirror images to be powerful too, and beautiful.

some great mirror pix above! keep em rolling in!

why do we all like mirrors? anywayz we do - it's one of those things that makes me think that crossdreaming is something quite specific, that we share more than just a broad inclination. xx

I'm not sure I get on to well with mirrors in real life... When I shave I tend to just look at that part of my chin I'm shaving... Actually I don't look to bad facially but its when I catch myself in a full length mirror I have to look away; I just think I look like one of those figure s you see yourself as in a 'Hall of Mirrors' - somehow squat and weird shaped. Even away from Crossdreaming I have a level of Body Dysphoria, I guess.

Like most people here dream of undressing in front of a full length mirror, taking off whatever.. could even be androgynous clothes like jeans and jumper.. and revealing a female body underneath, then standing in front of the mirror not get turned on as such but just admiring myself!
