I am glad to hear that he came around.

Kids might develop judgements earlier than I would have thought, but I guess they are not as ridgid in their thinking until they get older :)

Funny update!
I was at home dressed up, when my son comes to me and asks if he can invite a friend over that lives nearby. I said "sure just give me a second to get changed " and he replied why because he hadn't noticed what I was wearing 😂. It's become normal enough for him to not notice anymore

I'm guessing you did get changed; Maybe he was so caught in the moment of expecting his friend....   It reminds me of a Moment in Buffy the Vampire Slayer  but I won't bore you with that

This weekend when I got dressed my youngest son (3y) took my hand I’d wanted us to dance together, he was. Wry gentlemanly. It was such a surprise for my wife and I. I get the impression that they have been having to boys and girls dance together at school. He also said that I was pretty which was really nice.
