:hi: all

If there is enough interest, some of us are thinking of starting a SSB net.

It would run on the same night, same channel as the Eastbourne UKFM channel 39 net.

The idea would be to run the FM net to 9 o'clock then switch over to USB or LSB (not sure yet).

We are hoping to cover the following areas. Kent, Surrey, East & West Sussex, Hampshire and beyond.

Looking forward to comments, negative or positve on the idea.

Give us a call on the

Eastbourne/South Coast PMR Net, channel 8, Monday night 8 to 10
South Coast FM Net, channel 3 (if possible), Thursday night 8 to 9
Southern Area Net, channel 39 Mid-Block 27.395 USB, Thursday night 9 to finish

Yes I take part in the regular UKFM net on Thursdays covering east/west Sussex. There is undoubted potential to cover not just this area but much of the southern counties Including Kent Hampshire and beyond. If anyone reading this thread are interested in taking part then spread the word. The guys on the current net are great operators who are experienced and very friendly stations. The idea I believe is to trial this in the next few weeks. If you know any stations who do not use this forum or TM1 then please tell them. 73s.
