So if I were to purchase another radio for SSB what would be your recommendations go old school or these new fandango rigs

Only thing with the new ones is most have a frequency read out  wich is handy.  Quality wise old is gold. Only you can decide

yeah that was always the problem you needed a frequency counter and a chart to find your way around  nowadays its all in one box but seems even though these new rigs should be better ive heard that's not always the case

There's a few old school radios with frequency read out ie: 3900f, original President Lincoln,
