Based on the fact they were running 100 plays per scrimmage I doubt it

Something that is bubbling to the surface in Athens is that UGA is crazy fast this year.  You could see it in the game this weekend, but also players have started talking smack about what their max mph recorded by the sensors.  Mecole Hardman and Robertson are mid 20's, probably 24 mph, and there are about 10 other players above 20 mph.

You want the crazy part?  OLman Ben Cleveland is at 19 mph.  Dude weighs over 300 pounds!  lol.

Anyway, I know a couple of y'all are into the new sensors and data, so I thought I'd post it.

That’s pretty cool...I’d love to see how fast Christian Wilkins is. That dude can run, do splits, and back flips

All of the MPH stuff was mentioned by players in a 2 day period, and I bet Smart put a gag order on talking about it anymore.  One of the beat writers tried to get more info but was shutdown.

Sucks because I want more! lol

Saw this and it reminded me of our offseason discussion

That my friends is what happens when you go uptempo and it doesn't work, and add this to it:
Mississippi State held the ball for nearly 17 consecutive minutes of game time in a 23-9 win against Auburn.

The stretch totaled 16 minutes, 42 seconds. In the second quarter, the Bulldogs had a 4:14 drive end in a punt, but Auburn fumbled and Mississippi State got it back. That was followed by a 4:23 drive to the end of the half. The Bulldogs then received the ball to start the second half and went on a field-goal drive that lasted 8:05.
It's pretty hard to stay in a game when your offense is sidelined for 16 straight minutes.

Three and outs kill any offense not just tempo but I agree that if tempo isn’t working you put serious stress on your defense

Auburn has OL issues this season

Did you think Bama's offense would look like it does?  I didn't.

Nope! Sure didn’t...Clemson is more of a run team and Bama a pass team

At least right now until Trevor settles in

It looks like Bama and Clemson decided they needed big changes at QB to win the NC this year.

I think Clemson would have been just fine with Kelly. He lacked big time receivers last year as Cain did not live up to the hype. But Trevor definitely has the ability to stress a defense more vertically and especially working the middle of the field more

As much as I love Haskins , I do not think he is on the same level as Tua or TL …. not yet ….. but I do think he has the potential to reach the same level ….  even though he has not reached his potential he has improved Ohio State's offense  ….

I think you have it backwards.  Haskins is playing really well, but Trevor Lawrence is showing he has potential.  TL isn't there yet.

He didn't look too good in the PSU game …. he is a first year starter , so, I do think he has plenty of room for improvement …

Trevor is there...he just needs to settle in A little bit. He’s currently 25th in nation in TD passes and has played right at 3 games when you add up series and minutes. He’s 10th in QB rating.

I’m not ready to put him ahead of Haskins or Tua yet because he needs to play a complete game against a quality team but he has the highest upside of the 3. But potential and production is different and right now Tua and Haskins have won big games

Trevor hasn’t yet

Who would you rate as the 2nd best QB in the ACC?

Honestly right now until Trevor does it for a whole game I am not putting him #1 although I do think he is the best and will end up 1st team All ACC. He is so mature and his pocket presence looks like a senior veteran out there

Finley and Dungey would battle for that second spot. Finley is the better pure QB but Dungey is a damn gamer

I was thinking Findley.  I guess we find out about him next weekend.
