Here is my 2015 update.
I came up with a pitch stop that fit well. It was an aftermarket bug trany mount.
I made some threaded tubes for the double wall part of the firewall. I still need to weld them in.

I also added an adjustable stop on the shifter.
No more pushing or pulling too far.
This way it locates in the perfect location to just slides into gear.

I finally remembered my password here.

Not a lot to report, just driving, still haven't found the perfect Ruby red paint.

I do have some extra bits I need to clear from the garage.
So this will be the Garage sale post. If your reading this, you must be lost so I should give you a super discount deal. Hope I am not breaking any rules.

First up. The first of the 3rd gen carbon fiber Suby conversion dash. I put a turbo gauge hole near the ash try delete. I used this dash as a plug to redo the mold (with out adding the turbo hole).
In the second generation of the dash I lowered the brow and tilted the gauge to reduce glare.
Third gen, I took that to the limit, removing the upper and lower suby gauge mounting tabs.
I had this dash in my car until I made a new one with out the turbo gauge hole.
$500 + shipping or to any one that has an earlier generation there is a 50% discount.

I also have a black fiberglass 914 dash for $300.

The original Ruby914 is not in the garage so it is not part of the super discount to the lost, but it will also be moving out.

The 2nd gen mold was modified to make this dash.
The brow was lowered too far and the gauge cluster didn't fit the new dash, not unexpected.
I had to mod this dash to fit the cluster and to change the cluster mounting system. This needed to be done in the car.
At the same time I wanted to try the tach boss at the ash try delete (on the dash) but didn't want it incorporated into the mold. I didn't really need it myself, just tinkering with ideas. It could be used as a clock or whatever as well.
This become the new plug for the third gen mold.
I cleaned it up and resprayed it with clear. It still needs a final sand and polish.
Other than the tach boss, the only other difference this dash would have from fresh out of the mold is the ply direction is changed where the cluster clearance mod was made. Trying to match ply direction in a patch would look repaired, changing direction looks intentional. I will try to get a photo.
From there, I layed-up a new dash with out the gauge to prove the mold.
That is what is in my car now.

Year end update:
Moving coolant lines from under the car to behind the rocker panels.
Clearing the way for 1.25 ID green stripe but I will need something that will handle the bends better.
Silicone is one option, off the shelf select prebent sections is another. It may end up a little of both...

The hose is something like 1.6 OD going thur a 1.75 ID muffler pipe.
The muffler pipe had a custom bend welded into the thru tube. I am sure mandrel bent tubing would be easier but this did the job.

And the back. I'm still not sure if I want to go thru the engine bay wall or under the rear suspension swing arm pivot...
