Hello everyone! I've been a long time lurker here on the boards and only just recently signed up (this is actually my first post) and I love all the conversations, discussions and love that we have for the most beautiful ship that ever sailed, Cloud and Aerith!
I've had many pairings I love, but they have been my OTP since I was five years old and after all the wonderful things we've received recently (their wedding, KH 2.8, etc.) I've been in an overly Clerith mood, so I thought, "Chocobro, why not write a Kingdom Hearts-universe story about the couple that destroyed your life."
And that's how I started the idea of Star-Crossed Hearts. It's a story set within the Kingdom Hearts timeline, starting from the moments Cloud and Aerith first meet, continuing all the way through the compilation until the ending of KH3, with all the romance and adventure in-between.
Set in Radiant Garden before the events of the original Kingdom Hearts, a twenty-one year old soldier has been hired under Ansem the Wise as a castle guard, but when he meets a flower girl on the streets of town, his whole life changes. The story follows the blossoming romance between the two, the adventures they and their friends go on and their struggle to fight for one another, even when the darkness is seemingly tearing them and their world apart.
Their adventure departs from Radiant Garden and continues on through many other worlds including Disney ones, as they fight to outrun the forces that try to destroy them and the worlds with the darkness. Though, even in the deepest darkness, the soldier and the flower girl fight to keep their hope and light burning brightly.
Please read and enjoy!! I'm sorry if my summary became super rambly, just wanted to get across the vibe and details of the story as much as I could! I've been having a really good time working on it and I hope someone out there enjoys it, lol.
Hi Chocobro, welcome to the forum! Thank you for sharing your works with us! I know in the FFVII/KH fandom there's always seemed to be a dearth of clerith fics compared to other pairings and set-ups, and it's great to see more.
If you'd like, feel free to make an introduction forum in the the Church. More people will likely see it there.
Please stick around and enjoy the forums! We're looking to raise activity again with the Remake in development, so feel free to comment on older threads that interest you.
