Just found your build. Wow. I see you have CHI 4v heads and CHI 400 3v intake on a 400; correct?
My questions:
1. How well would CHI 3V Cast Iron Cleveland heads and CHI 400 3v intake work on a standard stroke 400 driver.
2. Would this work with no spacers?
3. Will CHI 3V Cast Iron Cleveland heads accept factory valve covers?
I do not find this intake on the CHI site, but I'll keep looking.

THANKs and Yes I have the chi3v intake on the 4v chi heads. It bolts up fine and there is a big mismatch between intake runners(small) and the heads(big although not quite as big as stock4v).I was going to port match the intake but I talked with the original owner of chi and he suggested to leave it which I did.I beleive the 3v intake and 3v heads would work awesome as I did it with the 4v heads and made 551hp(fairly mild and low cost build). The 3v work even better. And yes factory covers work unless you running a girdle then they sit to low.And yes no spacers if you buy the 400 intake.

The CHI 3V intake manifold for the 400 engine is near the bottom of the page of intakes.

It is called: Ford 400M 3V 218-250cc 4150 Holley Engine Masters Manifold

Here's a link to the web page. Looks like a really nice piece like all the other CHI stuff. I really hope to own some of it one day!
