cast 4V and 2V heads, what gasket?

Im not doing this myself, but there has been a question on another forum. The individual has a stock 4V intake on stock iron heads. I know this isn't the ideal way to do things, but from what I hear, it has been done in the passed. What gasket would be recommended, The 4V to match the intake or the 2V gasket to the heads? I have heard both ways and I know only one will actually seal.
Thanks,
Dennis

Use 4v gasket otherwise 2v will block manifold ports.

That was a common upgrade years ago! The ford book used to say 35 hp with 780 carb and the 4v intake. Never tried it but someone on here probably has?

If you use a 351C 4V powered vehicle for a grocery getter ... the eggs aren't going to make it home!

George coined the 4v as the charging rhino, is he gonna call 2v's honey badgers?
