You know Zidane was pretty useless as a fighting character. His theif skills never did much damage, he was only any good during trance mode (Which ALWAYS happened to me just when the battle ended! Doh!). At high levels, Steiner could always do 9999 with Climhazzard, Quina could do 9999 with frog drop, Vivi could do up to 9999 with flare, Dagger could do 9999 with Atomos or Ark, and Eiko, Salamander and Freya could do pretty good damage but also had MP & HP restoring abilities. I didn't even USE Zidane in the last battle.
I'm just thinking of him compared to someone like Squall, who I had doing 9999 damage with just a standard attack.- Min

a dead one. I think FF 9 was the worst one so far. I can't really say they were even "real" characters, rather, they seemed like nothing but bits and pieces of generic character traits thrown together. Man, FF 9 ate the chorizo rojo.

That's true, FF9 kinda sucked ass. But, the only parts that seemed cool to me was the part when Bahamut was taken over by Kuja and Bahamut wen out on a destrustion frenzy and when Alexander takes him out. Another cool part that seemed cool is when you kill monsters.I DON'T CARE IF I DESTROY MY MIND !! JUST AS LONG AS I SLAUGHTER ALL OF YOU !!!
