Hey Bumz and Doraemi, assuming you've both finished it, what was your take on the ending? Did Sasshi make a new world exactly like their own old world, only with a better setting for them both, or did he just fix what was wrong with their old world? :Ohttp://webpages.charter.net/gestahr/Movie2.swf
I think his "Adult Self" created a new reality. A reality in which Masa-ji doesn't die and Arumi doesn't have to move.
The look on Sasshi's face when those 2 key events take place (Masa-ji on the roof, and when Arumi tells him she isn't moving away) is as if he already knows what's gonna happen. That is why I believe he set up the alternate world.
The series wasn't really about changing the past, it was trying to find a reality that Sasshi would be happy to live in. Which he did in the end..
EDIT: Also, can you remember seeing Mune-mune at the end? If it was a fixed up version of the orignal world, what was Sasshi's dead grandma doing there? MRk MRK n FnK Mz
