It was just a declaration stating that "You're Under Arrest" is better than "Ah My Goddess!," that's all.

There isn't much in the way of resoning behind it for me, since I never really got into AMG (although I admit I haven't seen the new series, but I doubt that'll change my opinion much). But aside from some of those "mini-specials," I pretty much enjoyed every minute of YUA, no matter how serious or goofy it got.
I do believe that you or I are in the minority on this though.
