Now do I have a story for you! First day of class. At noon I went to my World Cinema to 1945 class. The instructor seems pretty chill, and the class seems like it may be some fun. So we sit there for 30 minutes and she's just trying to get to know the people in the class, what we did this summer, why we're taking the class, and what the class will entail. Then, 30 minutes into class she says, "Ok, I don't like to mess around the first day, and I'm done, so go. Leave." She let us out early! Pretty rad. So I called dad and went home.
Now evening, supposed to be English 100. I look at my schedule, and all I look at is the last entry for whatever reason. I see building 1000, room 1015. Eric drops me off, and I start trying to look for it. Five minutes late, and I finally find the room. I see the class has already started, so I just take an empty seat. She's just lecturing on stuff, and we start watching a video. Ok, psychology video, ok that's um.. ok. So I'm sitting there, and she starts lecturing about how to do research. Ok, there's a required book for English about how to write research papers. Fine. She gives us a 10 minute break at around 20:25, so I'm thinking that's cool. Then we go back to class, she keeps lecturing, I'm taking notes, ok. Great. Then 20:50 hits. She's still lecturing. Ok, maybe she's gonna hold the class for another 5 minutes to finish her point. Nope, it keeps going. at around 21:05, Eric starts trying to call me on my mobile. It's a good thing I remembered to set it to vibrate because he tried calling nonstop for I don't know how long. Finally, in between pauses between calls I flipped it open and turned the vibrator off so it was completely silent. I was surprised just how loud the vibrating function really is! So then FINALLY 21:30 hits and she lets everyone out. I'm thinking FINALLY!! I feel like an ass, Eric is probably sitting in the parking lot right now. I go to the instructor and say, "I came a couple minutes late and I was wondering if there were any handouts I missed." So she hands me the class sylabus, I walk out, and I see Psychology 202. Psychology 202. I'm thinking WHAT. THE. FSCK. I was in the wrong fscking class! It says the class meets only on Monday's, from 17:00 to 21:30. A 4.5 hour class! Holy shite! So I call Eric on his mobile and he's says, "Dude! WHERE ARE YOU?" "I'm on my way to that parking lot. Where are you?" "I'm hanging out in the quad thing." "Ok I'm on my way there." So I keep talking to him while walking to the quad. "Eric, ok, where are you?" "If we were airsofting right now, you'd be dead. Pop, you're dead. Oh, you're dead again." "Seriously, where are you? I don't see you." "Turn to your left.... NO your other left!" So I see him, I tell him what happened, and of course, he laughs at me. I feel like a complete ass for making him stay, but I'm thankful I have a good friend that actually sits and waits. Good man.
This is the last time this shite happens. I'm going to make sure I look at which freaking class I'm walking into! I hope I don't get dropped from English 100, though. I hope the instructor understands hehe...
