Working on Xenosaga, just finished Tenchu.
Might check out World Series Baseball 2K3, ZOE2, or DC2 tonight.
EDIT: Ended up with ZOE 2 for tonight, although I doubt I'll play it for very long...

Eh, playing just some old games i've got. Been playing SSX Tricky and Battle Arena Toshiden if I'm really bored, not in the mood to write any stories and\or not going to work any time soon during the day. Planning on getting new games, but I prefer to get Zoid model kits instead cuz I like to do something constructive(mostly building) with things. I rarely play v-games nowadays cuz of mostly having to work only a few hours after I get out of school. Thank god I only have to work 4 hours a day cuz I'm usually dead by midday if I have a full day of school. Plus, my new pet hamster has done her part of waking me up around midnight to 2 in the morning constinuously running on her wheel like a fucking maniac only for me to pput her in her ball for the next 6+ hours until I wake up.-The early bird may catch the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.-

I've been playing falling asleep on top of my friend's economics work folders. I ache everywhere but it's the end of the semester so I don't care.

Okay... I just finished Ico (well.. it started skipping in a map change durring the last FMV sequence, after she picks him up to carry him out of the castle)... I was pissed about the skipping, went and checked a guide and it said all that was left to do was run along a beach and find her.
Okay now... -everywhere- I looked, Ico got huge rave reviews.. Ico rocks.. Ico is the best.. Ico is genius. I DID enjoy this game, but I dont think it deserved the praise it recieved. There was alot missing from it, that could have been included, to help further enhance the environments and gameplay. The concept was not a new one, despite what every reviewer has said. It is just that the "escort mission" element was thrown in, but in a way that was actually enjoyable most of the time rather than a drag.
My real beef is, Ico is basically Riven, but without the wonderment. It has added stuff that I would have loved and not simply liked -- motion, adventure mode, some challenging battles, and interactive characters -- if only the game had the creative variety, quirks, colors and sounds that Riven had.
So.. I do look forward to the sequel, but I hope it offers more, and not just another dungeon to switch and swing your way out of.

I think people enjoyed the artistic style and the semi-realistic gameplay("Hm, I need to cross this chasm....should I look for a lever that will cause the bridge above to break apart, or should I take one of the bombs lying around and use it to blow up a pillar?").not allowed

I have no common sense. It took me *so long* to figure that puzzle out. >_<
I love Ico anyway. It's just the gorgeous deserted, bleached look of it...and the fact that you (well, I did anyway,) develop a real concern for the characters without them saying almost anything.

Ico was meant to have unlockable areas after you beat the game but it was left out. I did some research about it after the game and I found out, that there were many extra crap that was put in the PAL (aka:Europe) version of the game and not NTSC (aka:U.S.) version. Such as a secret lightsaber weapon
I do think that Ico still has one of the best endings of a game. Reason why I really want a "confirmed" sequel damnit.

Im trying to get a copy of xenogears after I saw it at a freinds house. Looked so awsome.
EDIT: I MEANT "XENOSAGA" NOT "XENOGEARS"
