Do you hate it when random people hit on you?

These girls I know are always complaining and really pissy when random guys hit on them. I'm kinda like, "Well, if you don't like the attention, um...PUT SOME FREAKING CLOTHES ON...or something."
Personally, I don't mind. I actually like knowing someone finds me attractive every once in a while, ya'know? I don't know what the big deal is...am I missing something?

If someone random came up to me and started hitting on me, I wouldn't mind. I'd be suspicious as hell about their motives, too, but thrilled nonetheless.
Of course, this is purely hypothetical and almost as difficult a concept for someone like me to wrap their mind around as a hypercube.---

I've never been hit on by anyone in my life. The obvious reason why would be because I'm ugly.

i never realize that someone is hitting on me unelss they make it REALLY obvious. Or unless I'm at a bar and they come up to chat or buy me drinks... when outside of bars or clubs, I usually just think, whoa, this is SUCH a nice guy! SO super friendly... trying to entertain me when I'm bored right? how nice...
my stupidity goes both ways though. apparently when i'm nice back, they just assume that i'm in love with them too..? My general rule is never ever be mean to someone who's friendly... but that has resulted many unfortunate incidents...

Haha one of my coworkers.. ok here's what happened. She was walking down the street in Santa Monica at the Promenade, and some guy coming her way stopped and talked to her. Here's how the conversation went:
"Hey!"
"Hey."
"Do you have a boyfriend?"
"Yup."
"Ok, see ya."
And he walked off. ROFL what a cool guy.

How can I be fishing for compliments when you don't know what I look like? o_0 No, I just thought I'd state what I'd been thinking through the beauty-related topics that have been going on here recently. o_0 I'm quite happy without being good looking because, yeah, I have a boyfriend already.
