14 years after CHV fell.

I am (almost, gulp) 30 as well. That means I was 15 and 16 during the days of CHV. In two years, it will be longer that CHV has been gone than I was alive at the time I used the site.I too think of this community every now and then. I think those of us who are left share that common trait. 
What brought me here today is actually my 15 year old self's dream came true - Final Fantasy IX (which came out then) is FINALLY coming to the PC along side VII and VIII. Mind you, I played it at the time on a friends PS1.

Edit: also a band I am seeing in Chicago in March, Chvrches, always makes me think of this place because the first 3 letters are CHV... Also, that is an impressive plate collection. You do all that damage yourself?

I'm 34 and married now! I can't believe it's been 15 years!

I was always more of a lurker than a poster @CHV. That said, I am NOT a forum joiner/poster person... so it tells me CHV was special. I find my mind bungies back to CHV from time to time. I definitely feel the nostalgia for you guys, the games and that time of my life.
