What do you think of the FF movie?

...of course I am defending my "beloved FF", chopmaister, I love it! For reasons stated before, FF8 is my favorite game, and when you insult it you insult a part of me. Yes, perhaps it is a bit overrated, but tell me, what recent game of Square has not been overrated? Everything from the FF to Chrono Cross (the only one I can think of that wasn't overhyped is Xenogears) have received ads everywhere, excellent comments, and just about every kind of positive reinforcement for the games. Just because a few people have high expectations of the movie doesn't mean it's overrated. Frankly, if you had been paying any attention, you would have seen most FF fans here are also doubting how good the FF movie will be, and I never said I expected it to be great or anything like that. Frankly, I am going in there with an open mind, not expecting anything, and not wanting to make any judgements before I see it. The same thing happened with Tomb Raider, and to tell the truth I didn't find that movie too interesting. I am biased towards Square, and you know why? Because so far the games I have played from them have not dissappointed me. I have not completed all the games (frankly the only one I have finished is FFVIII) , but I have played at least through some part of FF4, 6, 7, and 9. And I feel that all the stories, the characters, all those games have made me a fan. I may not be a "hardcore fan", or have played it since I was a little kid, but I have grown to enjoy and love the series just the same! And I don't think I want to stop being biased against Square. So far they haven't dissappointed me, and I continue to have high expectations of their games, just like you continue to expect grat 2D games from Capcom.
(While Balrog is turned around, Squall gets up and does a Renzokuken. Balrog faints. "There's your bass!")

I'm not trying to offend anybody and I don't feel I did that, therefore, I don't feel I should apologize to anyone. After all, a messege board's destiny is to voice your opinion on various issues, or in my case, just have a blast and see how people respond.
Just gives me something fun to do after college.
Besides I think i'll have fun watching the movie, and even more fun critisizing it, HA HA HA.

1. Almost as awesome as Evangelion
2. Decent
3. #1 canidete for the MILLENIUM DESTINY CHOP.
(After Squall turns around with a smile on his face, he suddenly gets smacked by a very big foot. He soon realizes its Dan, suddenlly, Dan does a Shink-Gadoken in Squall's pop idol face, now not such a pop idol face. Suddenly Balrog gets up and does his level 3 super combo to Squall.
After that, Dan and Balrog go to Taco Cabana to have a victory meal. YAHOOS and I GOT BASS follow)

(Then Zell comes in and kicks all three of their asses. Then he orders a chicken fajita cabana bowl and a refill on his Taco Cabana mug...man that place friggin' rocks except that don't they don't have hot dogs. This hurts Zell's feelings.)
Niether I nor Wadoko ever said you offended anybody. Every one's entitled to their own opinions and should be allowed to voice their opinions on whatever they feel like, but if they only do it to try and start flame wars, well then thats pretty stupid. Now, I'm not saying you're stupid, cuz you know that I know you're not, but come on, let's not all become like Bob. This place would suck if everyone acted like Bob, don't you think?

I never tried start a war(even thoough they're kinda fun) I just wanted to see what kind of reaction i'd get. I know that wadoko would respond 3 seconds later with a very bias response. Its all in good fun.
(After Zell finishes his meal, Balrog is waiting outside with a hotdog in his hand. Balrog then threatens to destroy the hotdog, and Zell comes rushing at him. Balrog then throws the hotdog into the street and Zell runs and saves it only to be hit by a bus. Balrog then steals Zell's shorts because he needs new ones, and Dan eats the hotdog

I tell you it's biased for a good reason..But lay off poor Balrog...he's a tired old boxer...get a new mascot.

Or keep Dan. But only one mascot per member!

Yeah, this is all in good fun...But the next time you say something like that about Zell...And Anyways Dan was my second mascot before he was yours!! Now give it back or I'll tell on you!! Lol!! J/K!

Man,iv'e been playing Dan for 2 years.
Balrogs the man, he still has plenty of BASS. Shingo is also the best. They're not my mascots, they're my amigos.
No mercy for Zell.
Dan could beat him with his eyes closed.

Dude no way!! Zell would cream Dan in 2 seconds flat. Then He'd stroll on over to Balrog, Shingo, Akuma, Iori, and hell, even Chun-Li and wipe himself with them...if you catch my drift...
Fact is Zell is tops, and don't you forget it!!

Man, Zell is so weak that he could be Gilbert's bitch. Ok, perhaps now i've gone too far. Zell only dreams of taking on Dan or Balrog. Dan can destroy the entire FF8 cast without his Gadoken. Including the UFO with the hanging cow.

Zell has no BASS.
