I am already planning to move to Japan to teach English, as soon as I graduate for OU. I have had numerous friends of mine that have done this and all have said it is worth it. I can't wait, only another year and a half and I am there!!! (of coarse I have to apply and get accepted to teach, but I am sure it will all workout)BOOMER SOONER

I guess I'm just really bitter about the whole thing, because my bf's aunt was the prosecuting attourney in that huge "Mitsubishi vs. the women of America" case, and so I'm all too familiar with the nasty details of how the women there (being here, in America, but in a giant Japanese corporation) were being treated (read that: sexually harassed, and physically abused...) by "traditional" Japanese men... It pissed me off to no end.
That, and you know how I feel about anime rape...

Its not as bad as it sounds Angi i mean it was really bad like 10 years ago but now in most families the wives are dominant (no joke). Some women are so mad and now will not wish to get married, the marrage rate in japan dropped like 20% in the last few years, so women are fighting back. I mean yeah my family is old fashioned and i dont like it especially when my dad orders my mom around and he hits me and my siblings and mom but now that Im older and he knows if everyones is pushed too far he's the one thats gonna get his ass kicked! So I think a feminist movement is innevitable in Japan so I personally think you just have to sit back and watch. And if any male in Japan gives you $#!t then just get in his face about it! male superiority in unjustified and elogical and emoral it just doesnt make sense!
SOooo you asshole Japanese fathers should watch what you say and think before you order your wives around! and on a ferther note i dont plan to become a asshole japanese father so there! ok Im getting all emotional now.
