Nintendo's new system, which has gone under the codename "Revolution" for quite some time, was officially renamed to "Wii."
That's it. No joke. No pun. No hidden meaning. No funky internet meme (SRSLY LOL). Just one funky-ass title that's not going to fly well in many Western (English-speaking) nations.
I wonder how Reggie will actually try to incorporate this new name into his "kicking ass and taking names" strategy.

Well...GWN's "Live blogging" of the event certainly turned into a barrel of drama.
