wow...
i don't think you guyz should get ZOE for the MGS2 demo, but for the game ITSELF. this game has one of the best presentations i've seen in games (possibly even better than MGS1).
and the battle engine is, well, fast-paced. i don't think i want to judge *that* part of the game JUST yet since i've only played for three hours.
but so far.... wow... i never thought i was actually going to PLAY this game.
and yes, i know some of you have problems with the game for having "cute" character designs (so did i, actually), but i think you should look at the game as an ANIME more than a blockbuster.
(oh damn... i wish CHV was still around. i would have gone CRAZY on line 3 with this game.)
too tired. need to go to bed now.

How are the controls? Are they intuitive, or hard to pick up?
Phew, at least I'm not the only one who's picking up this game for the actual game, not just the MGS2 demo!

Well, if the game sucked or not, I would still buy it for the demo only. But if the game is actually good, then all the better!

well... when i wrote the original post, i hadn't played the game enough to comment on it, but now (i beat the game last night)...
the in-battle controls are excellent. the camera angles don't disorient you when you switch enemies, and don't give you any motion sickness even when you're upside down.
HOWEVER, the non-battle controls could have used some improvements. i found myself sweating on my back (that's what happens when i'm motion-sick) waaaay too many times when travelling through basements and through cities because the camera wouldn't move the way it should.
this... actually is one of the TWO things that are bad about this game, the second being the "length" of the game.
but considering how INTENSE the game is, the shortness can (and SHOULD) be forgiven.
