At the other end of the spectrum, has anyone else found themselves absolutely hating an otherwise perfectly enjoyable piece of game music when it is associated with a particularly frustrating or annoying part of a game? My personal peeve is "Death Volcano" of the CC soundtrack.

Yes.. off the top of my head, the theme from Balamb in FFVIII started to drive me a 'lil stir crazy when I heard it on the OST.. even thought it's supposed to be a 'soothing, relaxed melody' it carries along too many bad memories of wandering around in circles in Balamb Garden..
Heh.. 10hrs of listenin to that stupid theme, it almost seemed to mock me. It's peaceful tune... *shudder*

Liberi Fatali and the accompanying opening FMV sequence is perhaps the greatest out of the entire Final Fantasy series...
