I would love to hear from somebody who's played Xenogears and/or Valkyrie Profile, as I keep picking those up every time I wander through EB...

Man, if Bo was here, I know EXACTLY what he'd say. I don't know about Valkyrie Profile, but I KOW that people LOVE Xenogears. Hell, Bo liked it so much that he decided to spend the 70 hours or so in that final week or two of CHV JUST to get his Backorder on Xenogears. I also havn't seen them in stores, and I'm 99% positive that Square cut the distros of them due to poor sales (same with Final Fantasy Tactics). If you didn't see the Backorder, I'll see what I can do to compress and upload it somewhere.
EDIT: Okay, I got the 107meg Backorder on Xenogears down to about 30 megs, but I can't really compress it any more without ripping up TOO many keyframes (which will not allow you to "search" within the video). I'll see if I can get that one up somewhere.

I Love Xenogears, have played the game at least 10 times, out of all everyone that I know, I'm the only one that ones the game. It sucked when the site went down because I had finally had someone else who played the game, and loved it too. I have the back order movie too, if anyone want's it I'll send it through icq, even though that could take a couple hours

I'm really looking forward to Skies of Arcadia. But, being in Australia, it's not going to be released until some time in April.
So, does anyone have anything to say about the game?

How about Brave Fencer Musashi? I'd like to hear how that was...or just about any Square game that hasn't been hyped to death.

Since the PS2 sequel is coming out soon, I was wondering if I should get the original PS1 game to understand/enhance my enjoyment if I buy Klonoa 2.

evapilot2000, I guess I am the one to tell you to get SOA! And as soon as you can. It's a great game, it has a good story, and it is incredibly long (the two CDs are all gameplay, not just FMVs). The battle system is somewhat traditional, unlike the ground-breaking systems of Grandia and Grandia II (another great DC RPG), but it has enough little details to keep you busy for a long time. If you want a game with a great soundtrack, good story, and like-able characters, look no further than SOA!
