Not a review. More of a question for everyone else as to a) what exactly this is (I can't run it, obviously) and b) whether it's any good. At least one guy seems to rave about it.
So, this is sort of a review in reverse. It's a request for one.---

A) Fan made game running under Doom Legacy

B) Very neat stuff. This is amazing for a fan made game, not obviously finished, play with a controller.

Sounds interesting. Since Doom Legacy was ported to OSX, I may have a chance to play it after all.
Is it reminiscent of the actual Sonic games?---

"Is it reminiscent of the actual Sonic games?"
Yes and thats what freaked me out. But theres one thing missing. I've only played the first couple zones and there seems to be no loop-de-loops
If the original sonic games were made in 3d this is close to it. Its fast like sonic, but playing on the keyboard sucks. Well, I see that you can get used to it my preference.

I just played it...I kinda don't understand why they bothered when Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 have been out for years, and Sonic Heroes is right on the horizon.not allowed

Because they are. Its not like they want to compete with anyone, its a homebrew game.
