OMG!#$%! I just hung out with THE COOLEST group of guys...
For anyone who likes a cappella, keep an eye (er...ear?) out for a group called m-pact (kinda like "N'sync", except a cappella, and they've been around MUCH longer than that stupid boy band...)
I now have two of their albums -- autographed! -- from two different concerts, both of which were free, and these guys are just plain cool... They did a Miles Davis jazz number, and if I wasn't sitting right there, watching from the front row -- in utter disbelief and amazement -- I would swear to god they were actually playing real drums, trumpets, saxophones and flutes (even though there were none anywhere).
The best part was: one of the guys remembers me from the Ada County Fair in Boise, Idaho, 2-3 years ago (they're a "Seattle" band, and I was the only Seattlite who just so happened to be in the audience that day), and I caught their show by chance (once again) tonight, so I got to hang out and chit-chat over coffee with this great band. Sweet, huh?
Anyway, if you hear about these guys in your area, go check them out. I don't know if their concerts are always free, or if I just happened to be in the right place at the right time -- twice -- but it's very entertaining and well worth it.
Okie, that's enough from me...you may now carry on with your lives...

Oh god...at least I know I'm not the only one who occasionally watched that show...
Er...let me see how much of my geekyness remains...

Well she sneaks around the world from Kiev to Carolina
She's a something-something-something ( ) from Berlin down to Belize
She'll take you for a ride on a slow boat to China
Tell me, where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?

Steal their Seoul in South Korea, make Antarctica do something-something...(forgot )
From the Red Sea to Greenland they'll be singing the blues
La da da da, forgot this line...
Tell me, where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?

She goes from Nashville to Norway, Bonaire to Zimbabwe, Chicago to Czechoslovakia and back!

Well, she'll ransack Pakistan and run a scam in Scandinavia,
Then she'll stick'em up Down Under and do something-something
She put the Miss in misdemeanor when she stole the beans from Lima
Tell me, where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?

Oh, tell me, where in the world is...tell me, where can she be?
Botswana to Thailand, Milan via Amsterdam, Mali to Bali, Ohio, Oahu!

Well she glides around the globe, and she'll flim-flam every nation
She's a double-dealing diva with a taste for thievery
Her itinerary's loaded up with moving violations
Tell me, where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?

Haha, probably the only thing sadder than remembering most of that is the fact that I can still recite "Yacko's World" and "Yacko's Universe" by heart (without the occasional something-something).

Heh, I can do better than MIDI...just tracked down an MP3. Fill in the gaps I missed yourself.
