Lets not get angry at Squaresoft because "The Bouncer" has only three hours of gameplay. This game was being developed backwards (voices and cutscences recorded and created FIRST.) Its a interesting idea, but It didn't really work. That doesn't mean you can spam "The Bouncer". Its a average brawler, Its not an RPG. I agree with the IGN review that the story mode is only about a third of the game. (Notice, I don't agree that the CG cutscences look like the games actual graphics :-) And that its more fun playing multi-player. This was more of an "experimental-game", in terms of how it was developed.

I agree.....I like The Bouncer even though it's kinda short. But I still love having a competition with one of my best friends, Mike, and see who can fight the cheapest in Team Battles. But, what sucks is that the game could only support the PS2 controller and not the PS1 and I only have one PS2 controller, so we have to take turns, which sucks @$$. Anyways, I basically kill Mike at Survival mode, he's always Kaldia (in her panther form) and me using Mugetsu(the one that has the mask on). Both of us got killed on Stage 8 agaijnst those two robots......I even got there with FULL HEALTH and I killed got my butt kicked by those over grown tin cans.
Anyways, I love The Bouncer and my favorite characters (starting with most ato least favorite) are and why.:
1.) Mugetsu(cuz of his crazy side)
2.) Kou(what stuff he says)
3.) Volt(he has horns)
4.) Daurogon(he's an @$$hole)
5.) Dominique(she goes insane and kills those robot dudes)THAT'S DISGUSTING !! TAKE A SHOWER BABY !!!!

You have to admit, the characters in The Bouncer are some of the best ever made. Not only in design, (You want to know WHY the characters look like the guys in FF8? SAME CHARACTER DESIGNER) but in personality. I think some of Kou's remarks were hilarious. And the entire "infiltration" scene with him dressed up as a bad guy was funny.

Ya I know that the game was made by the same game designer....then why would Volt look like Zell, Kou almost looking like Squall and Dominique almost looking like Selphie. Plus, for some reason Mugetsu reminds me of Sasuke from Ehrgeiz. Probably cuz Dreamfactory made the game and cuz of th armor Mugetsu wears.THAT'S DISGUSTING !! TAKE A SHOWER BABY !!!!

A large amount of the complaints I've heard Is because of this... That's just sad...

....Ya, it's sad....but what can you do?? Plus, the game is still good and fun. Whats your favorite part in the game(FMV) ?? Mine's the part when Mugetsu turns into barbque and when Dominique goes nuts and kills all those robots.
