    i heard that sony is going to release an update for the ps2 that upgrades the speed to 800 mhz. don't ask me how.. anyone else hear about this?
    So there's my US$0.02 :-)

      not a thing. there just rumors. but it could be ture, it is very possible. but i do not think they are, unless they want all the fools to think that it will be better than Xbox/NGC if they do (lots of people think that it is only the speed that matters)

        I got a really good computer right here. This computer is faster and has much more memory than Playstation2. It even has a DVD player! But even though this computer is better than Playstation2, it will not be able to play Playstation2 games, if it was made to. The pictures will look all messed up, sound will really suck. the games would run slow or not even at all.
        Since Xbox and Playstation2 is at a compitition here, I say I will stick with Playstation2, since I know that it will soon be at a really good rate (As in what people rate it).
        Xbox games really suck! LOL! I have to admit that. Their are no good games that came out on Xbox yet.LOL!
        If Sony Corp. is upgrading Playstation2, the only way of doing that is making a new Playstation2 (which would really suck for people that has Playstation2 right now!). But if the upgrading means more accessories attachments, I would rather say they are going to add more accessories to Playstation2. Check out my other topic for a pic of what I mean on this paragraph.

          Well, there are a couple. Dead or Alive 3 is the game that springs directly to mind, Project Gotham coming in a close second.

            Not to mention Halo, which is actually looking pretty damn good (this coming from someone who actually didn't like it to begin with).

              Halo is a "O.K." to me. Dead or Alive is a "O.K." to me too. They don't really hype me up at all. For Dead or Alive 3, I say Tekken 4 for Playstation 2 will top that. For Halo, it is kind of like Unreal Tournament Gold and Quake3 Arena. I'm not a game shooter admirer, so I have compliment on that game... But in this case, I like Mech games, and I think G-Saviour for Playstation 2 and Zone of Enders is better than Halo.
