I wanna see how many hardcore fighting gamers are on this board. It seems that everyone only likes Tekken and FF around here.
How many of you actually know about this game? I'm won't be surprised if not many know about it, it is for the hardcore after all.
Any? Any at all?

yes very much so
i like all genres of fighting games (2d or 3d doesn't matter)
i own all sf games starting from sf2 on snes (apart from gba versions as i don't have a gba yet), most of snk games i have on roms (im sad to admit) and guilty gear i have, just waiting for ggx.
umm also have jojo's bizarre adventure, but i NEED (like seriously ~NEED~) capcom to port SF3 series to ps2. AGHHHR.
i guess i should have invested into a dreamcast instead, but by the time it got to asutralia the hype was all over.
i still love tekken, and virtua fighter. i even owned a sega saturn for hell's sake to play vf and daytona.
god. can anyone recommend a good joystick for general fighting games?
i like the hori ttt version but with only 5 buttons it's a little useless. needs atleast 6. analoug or digital i dont care. prefer digital ofcourse though.

I'm somewhat a hardcore videogamer since I play 5 different game sytems; Turbo Graphic16, Sega Gensis, Playstation1, Playstation2 and games on PC. But, the downside to it, is that I don't play games that much anymore cuz of school and all.Mugetsu: "Don't make me angry, you wouldn't like me when I'm angry." Rips off his nightvision goggles that were resting on his head, "I DON'T CARE IF I DESTROY MY MIND !! JUST AS LONG AS I SLAUGHTER ALL OF YOU !!!"

i thought i would stop when i entered highschool. i told myself to stop playing video games and concentrate on school. I told myself i would mature and not waste all my time and money on video games.
after 30 mins. *switches zelda on snes*
i told myself im not very good at making self promises.

Heh. I lasted five minutes after getting home from college and I started playing SF3. I'm also waiting for CVS2, though I want to get the import DC version. I don't own a PS2 and I don't want to buy one just for CVS2. It's a really good game, but I'm not going to spend 300 bucks + 50 for the game. If I can't get it for the DC, I might try Garou Mark of the Wolves. That game is good too.

just curious on what characters you guys are planning to use on cvs2
personally im interested in todo, hibiki and kyo, not being to snk biased, the snk team just seem more atractive and fun to play with.
finally found a good joystick. its quite small but well built and sturdy. its a hori one, only made in japan. produced a LONG time ago for the psx, but works fine with ps2.
edit: oh btw, my old stick was a shit blaze one, the stick became loose and one of the buttons stopped working -_-'
gotta stop that mashing or else ill have to buy another one real soon
