If you can live through thirty-second load times every time you enter an area, dozens of bizarre names and sidequests, and PC-style hack'n'slash action, I think there's supposed to be an okay plot behind this title. I don't really know, I got about three hours in and then dropped this game like a hot coal. The load times were my major gripe, so I'd recommend getting the PC version instead of the PS2 game if you like these kinds of RPGs.
Maybe someone else can shine some light on the plot.

eh...good lord no! Pass on it, unless your a die-hard Dungons and Dragons fan (vidiot cringes) and you can keep up with names of towns, countries and races you can hardly pronounce. Combat gets dull fast, and the cut-scences are annoying. Charicters look like there on drugs, Joesph looks 40 when hes suposed to be in his late teens or something like that. Even worse, the pop up on this game is scary, more than Driver 2. To make matters worse, Volition decided to go crazy with NCP interation. Each charicter has tons of stuff to say...Too much stuff, were talking three pages full of endless text for each charicter. Considering the area's are HUGE and full of unneeded side quests. Unless you like spending five hours on a unneeded side quest, then you'll like it.

Yeah, what he said. It's been so long since I touched this game that I'd forgotten all about those.

o-kaaayyyyy I won't touch it.
IGN was pretty positive about it but hey, there's nothing more reliable then the scope of the Cyberhippiez.

IGN? No comment.
Seriously, they're okay, but with all the money Snowball invested in them, they hardly did anything to make me want to scream out in extacy.
They gave them what, $10mil?
