CHV Lives On

As you all might know I work at a retail store. For the past few weeks we have been saleing out of the ps2 8mb memory card as soon as we got them. We thought it was just a hot item. But my friend at work said they heard a rumor about sony redoing the memory cards, like reformating or something, i just wondering if anyone knows if this rumor is true and what there doing.

Hey, I work at a Software Etc., and yeah, there's a shortage this month for some reason, so they must be reworking something.

I've seen shortages at every major chain around the area. But they've also been SELLING more of them than ever, and just getting less than usual.
I have no idea what the reasons are, and while a "new" memory card could be an option, I don't see why Sony would slow down production or distribution of the old one until the new one was released.

Perhaps they're working on a peripheral which would allow saving onto the upcoming HDD. Just a thought.
