Okay, so my friend Lisa just got a PSX.. her brother's, its modded.. blah blah blah. She has a 4 year old son, who has been enjoying toy story 2 right now...
Since I'm so poor, and dont have the gaming exp you all do for the PSX, and since she has even less than I.. I want yall to help me out, and list some good adventure/action games... games that involve running around, though not tediously, puzzle solving (more collecting items rather than flipping switches 10 million times), some FPS stuff, that are fun... and not too heavy drama RPGish... and then also list whether it would be suitable for a 4 yr old, or just for her (she doesnt want to limit her shopping list to just games for the boy, she wants some too)
Some examples of games she herself has enjoyed... the Myst series, Toy story 2, the sims, super mario brothers... only ones that come to mind. She likes cute games, and she considers toy story a cute game. She does like horror games too, but ones that are actually scary not just blood blood blood... she liked Undying alot, and a map in the wheel of time demo... where sounds freak you out, not nessesarily actual things... (by the way, serious, everyone go check out the wheel of time demo for that one map)
Games she DOESNT like though.. are Final Fantasy, SSX, driving games, sports games (like straight football/basketball)... I know, I cant belive she doesnt like FF or SSX... she's so my oposite. She doesnt like pokemon either, or whatnot... geeze she's picky. I'm hoping having a PSX will open her up to more types and shit...
I already recommended resident evil, but only cause I heard some garden scene was scary..(?) is that 1 or 2? So.. what do yall recommend?

RE2 is the best PSX one so far, IMO. Ape Escape is one of my favorites, I also liked Threads of Fate. Ummmmm....I pretty much play RPG's. :o She might like Silent Hill, it was pretty spooky.not allowed

She wanted SH1... but her brother kept that one. I think she's going to rent a bunch this weekend, disney games and SH1/RE2, to test them out. I think she'd dig a cute dance game... whats good?

Okay.. so, the first two games interviewed are The Emperor's New Groove, and Rugrats in Paris.
So far, the EGN is actually a very entertaining game. Lisa is getting SICK SICK pleasure out of torturing poor little bunnies in two secret areas. You cal also do this crazy ass matrix thing... when you jump, and attack, you'll pause in the air in an upright position (you are a lama, so this is unnatural afterall), with one foot out preparing to kung-foo somethings ass. You can rotate the camera freely, so when in mid-air pause, it totally looks like the matrix.. but with a Llama... very entertaining.
We also discovered a while back that with SSX, if you break to a stop near the finish line, the camera will rotate and do a matrix thing as well (due to position)... wiggy.
Anyway... just thought I'd SHARE... ::whistle::
