Somehow I managed to get the ratchet and clank one.. and thats the only one I "by title" wanted to see.
It was grainy. It was dark. It didn't show any actual gameplay.
But it still rocked
Ren
$500 for crippled tard pack minus HDMI, WiFi, a bevy of ports and with a 20 GB HD.
$600 for uncrippled pack with 60 GB.
Controller has incredibly innovative and original tilt-function. Oh, and rumble has been removed because it interferes with this new feature. Not because of any patent issues with Immersion, of course.
@#%$ $600.
Seriously, they removed physical ports.
Bigger than a 360. Bigger than an XBox. Bigger than any console I can recall.
Heavy, too.
FFXIII, MGS4, VF5, etc., etc. exclusive. @#%$.
Goddamnit.

The official press pics of the system show that the "Core" (for lack of a better word) version of the PS3 does lose the ports that Drak mentioned.
Not that I was looking at the cheaper one anyway...
I'm a fairly firm believer that you get what you pay for in most cases. While I wish I had the ability to just pull an extra $100 out of my butt, I also realize that I'd end up paying later if I skimped at the time of purchase.
In Kennie's defense, he DID say some people would need to put in a little overtime in order to afford the PS3. I'll no doubt be one of them, especially since I still have my other eye on the Wii.
$500-$600? American? ARE YOU @#%$ KIDDING ME!?
I guess I won't be getting a PS3, not for a lack of desire, but for a plain old lack of damn bloody funds. I can't spend 700+ bucks on a console, after currency conversion and taxes.
OMG
Ren, having a pity party.
