Are they? I didn't like 7 much but if they change it graphically wise by a lot I might go back to liking it. But 8 Is what I am looking forward 2

Wanna see FFVIII remade for the PS2. It was always a pretty stunning game as it was, but on PS2 might just be even more fantastic! Haha, love that game way too much...

Yeah, but I want to SEE how much better the graphics are. And, they had BETTER remaster the FMVs. I can't stand any more of those horribly compressed, 15fps, fmvs.

Final Fantasy VII had horrible fmvs (not for the time!

) I'd heard that there was supposedly not enought time to include a save aeris (aerith - for the yanks) sub quest it would be good to see that in their along with the graphics up date. The only thing is that I really like the feel the Prerenderd sceens that FF7 had and still do they'd need to stay VERY close to those for me too be happy with the end productJed

We 'Yanks' call her Aeris, too. At least, my game does.
And that whole "Squaresoft screwed us over in the reincarnation department due to time constraints" argument was a completely fictional post by a guy who...never mind. Read his testimony yourself.

If they remake FFVII, I hope they not only improve the graphics. I hope they clear up a few plot elements that got lost in the translation process. You know what I mean.

I bet you guys didn't know this, the Japanese verison of FF7 they CAN revive Aeris (Aerith). But they need all the 'Huge Matiera' and get the 'White Materia' (the materia that falls out of Aeris's hair) and get now dead Aeris. Then, bring Aeris to Cosmo Canyon and to RedXIII granfathers (I don't remember that dudes name but a friend of mine and I call him Hoo-Hoo Man). Then the White materia floats to the middle of the 4 Huge Materia. When that happens, the 5 Materia joins into one and revives Aeris. After that's done the 5 materia's go back to normal and go back where they wore. I don't know what happens after that but my friend told me that.
And you all know that part when you go back to that church in the slums and you see a split second of Aeris when you go into it. Well, that wasn't suppose to be there. All what I explained above and some other stuff that happens after was deleted for the English Version. And they missed just that split second of Aeris. Japanese, lucky bastards aren't they? Japanese game players get the better advantage of games like this one. That makes me want to be a Japanese dude.THAT'S DISGUSTING !! TAKE A SHOWER BABY !!!!

Hoo-Hoo Man is Bugenhagen.
And your friend is delusional. See above link to article.
Squaresoft said they tried their best to leave nothing out of the U.S. release of FFVII.
Although, myself, I'd love it if you could bring Aeris back to life. Her 4th level limit break could come in handy against the Weapons.
